We & so many others love to help folks out on here, but there has to be a red line when not to i.e. when someone’s being abhorrently disrespectful to the hand that feeds them & that should be thee red line, man. It sends out the wrong message that it’s ok to diss & get rewarded.

That last bit was actually more a jab at his wisdom than a helping hand, which was more intended as a general message to users. Like when someone says “all the links are dead” and I, and others, respond with “you couldn’t be bothered to check Uptobox, could you?” Yes, it give the culprit the solution, but it also saves others from his false info. If you’ve noticed, perhaps the bulk of my “advice”, and criticism, has a more general character, intended for whomever it fits.

@ProdigalX and Red: He was just about to give us details of all those hosting sites that keep files active indefinitely, have no download restriction and are, undoubtedly, super fast, but now you guys have gone and scared him off. Shame on you!

It’s not worth their hile to reupload old links as only a few people (or maybe none at all) will actually use the link before it gets taken down again.

By the way, if anyone tries the timer bypass at Uptobox using a proxy or VPN, I think you need to do it signed out, otherwise they still know it’s you and will keep the 30-minute timer going.

That’s why God created VPN. I can’t get to torrent sites where I live, but I just switch to a proxy or VPN server in another country and I’m good to go.

As I mentioned, very few sites like this re-upload dead links. PSA has generated probably over 70,000 files in the past 5 years. Do you really expect them to keep up with that? Plus these guys work on a shoestring budget as is, so I would guess paying another person just to maintain links is unfeasible. Of course if you’re volunteering…😉

The problem isn’t wait times for me, but Uptobox banned all free downloads from American IPs. I’ve never seen anyone else mention it in the comments here which is kind of odd. I’m surprised PSA still use it to host their samples. It would be really nice if they could re-upload things from time to time. It might not be feasible for all their encodes, but some would be better than none. Maybe they could consider adding another person to their team to reupload dead links.

Yeah, it’s amazing that with five years of experience these guys still haven’t learned to choose hosters more “wisely”, even though they have tried to offer us a multitude of hosters over the years – you know, crap sites like Mega, Openload, Clicknupload, Zippy, Upload.to, Google, etc. Oddly the same thing seems to happen at most similar sites.

I may not be wise like you, but I do know that if I register at UTB the wait is only 30 min, and if I change my IP addr. with a proxy or VPN, 30 sec.
