Go away grandpa you got another prostate exam today, i know you love em.
Played 1 and 2 in 2022
Playing 2 again right now, i just have to scout the military base and there will be nothing else to do.
With this experience i wouldn't say it's incomprehensible, it's just major ass.
In your first hours is purely annoying, where you miss constantly or hit without dealing damage(???). Once you get power armor and a decent enough weapon, say power fist, pulse rifle or sniper rifle, it becomes so easy is not even a game, since the only way enemies can kill you is with a critical that deals 200 hit point out of nowhere.
A lot of quests are very poorly made and with bugs that can make them impossible to complete. There is this one in Den where you need to spy on a gang that are protecting boxes in a church, but if you kill the slavers guild leader before reporting back with your finding, the quest becomes impossible to complete since the woman that gives it won't speak with you again. There is another one in Broken Hills, where a super mutant killed humans to plant evidence om a guy he doesn't like. You are supposed to report this things to Marcus, the sheriff, but this mutant specifically you have to let him run away or kill him yourself, and if you kill him the entire town becomes hostile, and if you let him go, Marcus won't even acknowledge what happened and won't even ask who killed all that people.
I remember seeing on jewtube a guy shitting of fallout 4 (which also sucks) because of how easy it was, and showed as evidence that he had like 60 stimpacks, 40 rad-x and 40 Rad Away; i don't know if that idiot knew what series he was playing, since in 2 i have the exact same stuff even when is supposed to be harder to obtain. As of now i have 50000 caps, 120 stimpacks, 55 rad-x, 40 RadAway and a few forst aid kits and doctor bags. I haven't gone out of my way to get this, just trading the guns from random encounters and beating quests, that's it.
people. Roleplaying games have the worst economy possible and it feels like the people making the game didn't even bother checking if their ridiculous prices made sense in the beginning, when you can't buy a thing, and in the end, when you can buy the whole world; is not a challenge if it doesn't work.
I'm playing 2 again because i had the idea that i was too harsh on in when i first played it, but nope, game just sucks.
