So Bruce Pearl thinks Obama “divided” the country by talking about racism while pretending that racism somehow just faded away because things are “better than before.” Nah. That’s the same recycled garbage people say when they don’t want to deal with the real issue. If calling out systemic problems makes you uncomfortable, that’s your problem. Obama didn’t create division. He exposed what was already there. If your players can’t handle hearing the truth about the world they live in, maybe you failed them, not him. And citing a poll from when Trump just took office, right after years of GOP media warfare, isn’t proof. It’s propaganda.
