TITAA Recs #69: Heroism and Space Battles
Media recs: Books, TV, Games for the past month, in detail.
I read some good science fiction with some good space battles, in particular: The Killing of Worlds (Scott Westerfeld) and Fearless (Allen Stroud), plus the latest fun Mur Lafferty The Infinite Archive. Meet Me at the Crossroads ended well with a few caveats about the late section, and The Blue Hour (mystery, Paula Hawkins) was well-written and unsettling.
But mostly I am here to suggest you all watch ⭐️ Frieren ⭐️, even if you aren’t anime/animation fans. It’s amazing, and will make you think hard about relationships, time, heroism, memories. I can’t recommend enough, I adored it. In other good TV, I also liked The Apothecary Diaries, another anime show. Is this my middle aged anime era? Bring it on, send recs?!
Details and further thoughts and media recs follow….! With a good poem.
