/dem/ - Democracy is the democracy board of Soyjak.party which is currently governed by nobody as the presidency has been vacant since 30 July 2025. It was created by Thanos during the board advent, in which one new board would be made every day for the month, and only the most active boards would remain. Despite being a new board, it's rapidly gaining speed and will hopefully surpass /soy/ one day. As a board of democracy, the people will create its rules through a majority vote of the parliament.

/dem/ attacked both /bp/ and /leftysoy/ at the end of the Board Advent. It is the only board to survive the event; the other one being deleted due to stealing the most important GET in Sharty history.

Nowadays, it's often a DNB adminGODs relisted it so now its an AAD (alive aryan adult), but that's mostly due to the presidents not being good at managing their boards.

Presidents, the papacy and elections[edit | edit source]

Each term lasts exactly a month. Elections are always held 1 week before the end of a term, during which a campaigning stage is held. A president may only be elected once, and if re-elected, must attain a majority of the votes. Presidents may appoint up to 10 board jannies.

Presidents may be impeached with a no-confidence vote. These are done by 9a0c if there appears to be general disapproval of the president's policies. A no-confidence vote requires a supermajority to pass and takes 2 days. (this rule may NOT be adjusted)

These rules may be adjusted with a supermajority vote.

Papacy[edit | edit source]

The papacy was introduced on May 9, 2025. It allows popes to undemocratically adjust the outcome of the election. They may also pin ONE thread. Pontificates last indefinitely.^[1] The Pope is currently klaus schwab.

The Laws set by parliament and the Janny Cabal are listed here as so.

Every law will be written here, and they will be added numerically. If any laws are taken out, a mark will be put down for it's recitation with a date.

Janumverate Code (Constitution)[edit | edit source]

1. No Janny is allowed to get involved with a party.
2. Jannys must remove anything that goes against the site rules, or the rules put in place by the Parliament.
3. Jannys must veto anything that goes directly against the site rules (discord involvement)

These laws will apply to every candidate in the future.

1. "Impeachment Law"

Impeachements can only be done after half of the President's term has passed. Only after passing this law, the 14 day interval would go in.
Impeachments are only heccin' valid when 9a0c, Froot, or any other janitor part of the soyjak.party staff team host them. 

2. "Samefag Law"

Candidates in an election are not allowed to run as multiple identities, doing so will disqualify them.

3. "Census Law"

Every week there will be a popularity poll regarding the current President.

4. "'nish Law"

Jannies are required to put their signature in the ban messages for extra transparency.
They are also required to put "X days:" in front of their ban reason, so Moderators know exactly how long to ban them for.

5. "Vote Law"

Candidates will always require a majority of the votes, this still applies after running multiple times. 

6. "Capcodes 'n shiet"

Give me capcode on /qa/, /sude/ and/or /soy/ that'd be funny geg (basically all namefag boards + /soy/). This prevents falseflags

These are policies that apply to the time I reign over /dem/.

1. "Bait"

I'll be more lenient on bait, and show you guys how to prevent it instead. Feed a man a fish and you will feed him for day, teach a man to fish and you'll feed him for a lifetime o algo.

2. "Goonslop" 

Gone, completely eradicated, not even moved to /nate/. Why did soot even add that shitty board?

3. "Brimstone Law"

Any media that is forced, coalish, or frowned upon by The Darty is viable to be deleted.
This includes MLP, furries, Kamala Futanari, terrible mouse etc... basically SNCA autismslop shows and retarded trash that belongs in /qa/ or /nate/

4. "Politics"

Politics are allowed on /dem/, just without the porn. This encourages actual political discussion instead of "muh dick is larger than yours" and "X country women are built for X country penis"

5. "/webm/"

There will be a Video thread pinned, unless I need space for some temporary announcement, yeah.

6. "Soyworld"

Posting mc.soyworld.online media in /craft/ makes mist's clitty leak, so I suggest /dem/ should be the place for that.

Raids[edit | edit source]

/bp/ raid[edit | edit source]

The most notable raid by /dem/ was the raid against the /bp/ board. During the raid /dem/ spam posted on the board resulting in the most of the board's posts being deleted, as well as the board going 404 for a short amount of time.

/leftysoy/ raid[edit | edit source]

Another notable raid by /dem/ was the raid against /leftysoy/. The raid was very easy because the entire board was dead. It was congregated by CobsonTALKS, Aaron Schumann, and Hunter II The raid was also spamming clearing out old posts of the board. In the end /dem/ won as Thanos later snapped the /leftysoy/ board.

Troon vtuber raid[edit | edit source]

This raid was started by CobsonTALKS, Hunter II, and other soyteens. It was a raid against a troon vtuber streamer, later in the raid 'teens found the troon's address and sent pizzas to xer home and called its landline. This raid was the raid that most likely single handedly saved the board from being snapped by Thanos.

IRC Soyvil war[edit | edit source]

Forced by Gold, the only goal was to make Mist leak.

Forcing Poop upon the 'log[edit | edit source]

Another TALKS raid where xe and xir viewers speedrun making jaks and posted them on soy and /qa/ eventually cattywiping both board after constant thread making the raid was successful birthing the popularity of HamJak.

/qa/-/dem/ war[edit | edit source]

After CobsonTALKS got reelected he decided to ban Ongezellig and his supporters encouraged to spam /qa/ with linespam. They partially wiped the board but that led to a big resistance. Zaryans of the /qa/ united as a group known as Zellig-e-Taiba and started counter-raiding /dem/.
