The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released a video showing members of the Palestinian Islamic terrorist group Hamas looting a truck carrying humanitarian aid inside the Gaza Strip last week.
The video, which was filmed last Friday, shows armed individuals climbing atop a truck carrying humanitarian aid, while it is surrounded by a crowd of Palestinians.
The military spokesman emphasizes that the video shows "armed Hamas terrorists... violently looting humanitarian aid that had been transferred to the Gaza Strip, preventing it from reaching the civilian population in Gaza."
“Contrary to Hamas’s false claims that the individuals in the video are security personnel, they are in fact Hamas terrorists who arrived to seize aid intended for the residents of Gaza. Even when the aid reaches Gaza, Hamas plunders it for its own benefit, blatantly ignoring the needs of the population,” the Israel Defense Forces revealed, adding that “these images are further evidence that Hamas is the main obstacle to the delivery of humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip.”
The Israel Defense Forces said it released the video after Hamas, in recent weeks, “spread false claims about a deliberate campaign of starvation in Gaza.”
Last week, a senior Israeli defense official claimed that nearly all trucks heading to aid agency and UN warehouses were looted by Gazan mobs in the coastal enclave.
