AGREEMENT SIGNED BETWEEN BCCCI AND ERF FOR JOURNALISM COMPETITION & AWARD FOR ENHANCING BANGLADESH-CHINA TRADE AND INVESETMENT

Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCCI) and the Economic Reporters’ Forum (ERF) have signed the Agreement for holding Journalism Competition on various aspect of Bangladesh –China bilateral economic issues on Saturday, 20th May 2023 at the BCCCI Office.

As per the Agreement signed, The five fields to be covered in the reporting competition include: 1) Trade & Investment relationship between Bangladesh and China; 2) High quality Development concept/policy of China how it helped Bangladesh; 3) Science and technology. (Opportunities of technology transfer between Bangladesh and China, AI, fourth Industrial Revolution); 4) Belt and Road initiative (BRI); 5) Others (such as Blue-economy, tourism, culture, education, and hospitality industry)

The top 3 reports from each of the 5 categories will be awarded prize money being : 1st place: BDT 100,000.00; 2nd place: BDT 75,000.00 and the 3rd place: BDT 50,000.00.Mr. Al Mamun Mridha, Secretary General of BCCCI and General Secretary of ERF Abul Kashem signed the Agreement representing on behalf of their respective organizations. The Agreement Signing ceremony was attended by the Senior Vice President of BCCCI Brig. Gen. Shah Md. Sultan Uddin Iqbal BP (Retd.), BCCCI board members, ERF board members and Office Secretary of BCCCI Abu Taher.
