An online snapshot of the participants of virtual meeting between BCCCI and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCCME) moderated by Mr. Md. Ziaur Rahman Honorable Commercial counselor of the Bangladesh Embassy in Beijing on 8 October 2024.
Ms. Sai Tong, deputy director of Market development of CCCME bought up the fact that Bangladesh is a fast growing country and Chinese entrepreneurs are increasingly coming to Bangladesh to set up business. CCCME also expressed a desire to sign a MOU with BCCCI so that BCCCI and CCCME can jointly organize delegation visit, organize trade fairs in each other countries and CCCME also expressed a desire to visit Bangladesh for factory visits in China.
Mr. Al Mamun Mridha Honorable Secretary General of BCCCI also expressed desire to sign a MoU with CCCME and also assured full support of BCCCI to organize all these events. Honrable Director of Akij Group Mr. Sk Aminuddin and Director of BCCCI asked for Chinese cooperation in building EVs and IT sector. Mr. Atiqur Rahman Honorable Managing Director of ARK Consultant & Engineering Ltd. and director of BCCCI asked for Chinese assistance in the EV sector specially with electric buses and EV charging stations for a government pilot project. Union Group asked for Chinese assistance developing EV buses.
Honorable Director of BCCCI, Mr. Zakir Uddin Chowdhury and Office Secretary of BCCCI, Mr. Md. Abu Taher was also present on the online meeting.
