People keep justifying this war by invoking Dresden. Those were conflicts w/ armies of millions, thousands of tanks & planes backed by vast arms industry on all sides. After the war, Americans propped up defeated Germans with unprecedented aid and generosity.
Gaza is like if the modern US military blockaded and bombed the Navajo reservation for decades, then after a terror attack, retaliated by invading, destroying every city and then slowly starving them. And did so openly with a goal to deport every person in the territory of Navajo descent for worshiping the wrong god and belonging to the wrong tribe.
