I've mostly just been watching the comedy act in this thread, but I read the manga (I'm like three or four chapters behind, but much further than the show) and honestly, no one here likes to entertain the "1000 year old dragon loli" argument thats been in the western anime community since I'm sure you were still counting on your fingers.

When a public figure talks about donation openly, public can ask for the proof. Them not having a legal obligation to share it, doesn't mean they can't be judged for it. Ironmouse, her colleague did it so many times she actually appeared at an IDF conference(I'm aware it's not only because of that but it's a proof of support). Someone just shared a 500 dollar donation to IDF from sales of her merch. If Froot simply can't afford it, she should be more transparent about it. Her silence made this into an issue for many. Even if antis don't deserve the truth, fans do in my opinion.


Not being married is a development I didn't know, but you don't need marriage to cheat(regardless of the truth about it). You can cheat as long as you are in a relationship. State recognition, especially in more open minded places like west, is more of a process than a defining factor. There are people who prefer to have the freedom to end a relationship without the process of divorce, especially when they don't want to have kids. I know of people who lived together for around a decade and never officially got married.
