This is because people like this dont use logic. They dont even use emotion. They are too lazy to even make up a decent compelling lie.
They just point and say enemy and expect others to comply.
If strawb was dangerous..no one you claim to want to help is informed..make sense ? Thats because his motive is for himself. Its not even thinly veiled. Just " like me and dont like her " , usually stemming from jealousy or opinions he wish couldnt exist.
