god I don't wanna spoil man. but there is one scene that fucking shook me to my damn core. it was so powerful I almost cried, if you saw the movie in full, you KNOW what I'm talking about. i can't stop thinking about it.
I watched SINNERS and- i need to make my art about black joy and be extremely obnoxious about it. i need my art to be blacker, I love being black and I wont let anyone take that and make me assimilate or steal it.

If it’s the dancing scene I’m thinking of— That scene connected with me in a way no movie has ever reached out to me before. Suddenly all of the love, energy, and creativity I’d put out into the world up to that point and beyond gained so, so much more depth and meaning. What a beautiful movie.
The entire movie is so good, me and my friends have stayed up just talking about what shit in the movie meant on a larger and smaller scale. Theft of culture and in equal parts celebration of it. Truly a fantastic movie and I WILL be seeing it again.
Lots of movies use music as a bridge to the supernatural or the mesmerizing but the moment you see the second guitarist pop in your brain is just like "oh this shit is going to HIT"
I was mesmerized by that scene, and probably the first horror movie I've seen that actually made me cry.
God yeah, I absolutely loved the magical realism theme in the movie! Easily my top 5 favorite films of all time, maybe even top 3. I wanna see it again some day. It's so damn good.
Oh I know, and I did. It's probably the best movie I've seen in theaters 😎
That scene made me cry both times I saw it!
it was so deep it was kinda scary. I'm still trying to process it, I've never seen anything like that in my LIFE
Where do you watch it? Ive been looking for new movies to get into
The dance scene was one of the most originals movie scenes I’ve viewed in a long time. I’ve seen plenty of movies depict “music connects us tot he past” but never one that goes “and connects us to the future”
I keep meaning to go see this movie but I can never spare the time and money
