there's something really irritating about people on Tumblr assuming you're an idiot for something you know already and typing you a whole Bible on why you're wrong and giving you unsolicited advice.

it's not that I don't like criticism, it's just the condescending and overly nitpicky tone of it all.
i know a lot of artists really despise unsolicited criticism because it's unneeded especially on art pieces that may be personal, I'm somewhat ok with it but it's conditional. but just, going up to someone about why they're not 100% accurate on something they know is mega annoying I cannot lie.
for me it's telling me about things i clearly understand better than them, followed closely by, as you mentioned, "this isn't 100% perfect, so it's 100% wrong and here are 12,537 reasons why". Like maybe i know it's not perfect but wanted it seen anyway. maybe shut up and enjoy its existence instead
Exactly. It's like art is meant to be shared, "flawed" or not.
I feel you, it's one of the reasons I've abandoned my Tumblr account. That, and the RadFems, puriteens/queer assimilationists, and obvious-channers infesting every corner of the site...
Tumblr feels more and more like a psyop to cause queer infighting
It really does. Especially since 4chan / KiwiFarms have been openly operating on the site with people obliviously parroting their shit...
Same but reddit, I went to a trans board to ask a question a serious question about testosterone "zeroing out" 0 replys, one post about someone being misgebdered at a 7/11 2000 up votes and there a hero 😩
Basically this guy a few days ago calling me a brainwashed tech-illiterate slave to big tech when I half vented half asked for advice on switching my computer to linux. Dickhead
.... I ain't never talked to nobody on tumblr. Guess that means I'm justified in mah radio silence there.
