EXPO SAUNA TAIYO NO TSUBOMI
The Expo sauna, "TAIYO NO TSUBOMI," is located at the western edge of the venue, overlooking Osaka Bay. This open, scenic waterfront sauna offers an immersive experience that embodies the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai: "Designing Future Society for Our Lives. Petal-shaped air membrane cushions come together to form a single bud, creating a beautifully dynamic structure that stretches toward the sun, brimming with vitality. The energy of the sun, immersed in the air of the sea, plants, and wind, pours down onto the "TAIYO NO TSUBOMI (Sun Bud)." The delicate yet powerful membrane creates an environment filled with natural energy, harmonizing our minds and bodies and guiding us back to the core of our humanity. The space, enveloped by an ETFE film* membrane that allows natural light to filter through, glows gracefully with LED lighting, harmonizing with the ever-changing nature of Osaka Bay across the seasons and time. The sauna offers a completely new 'co-creation' space, embodying a future society that values “warmth and harmony.” *ETFE film: A high-performance fluoropolymer material that has been processed into a film. SUMMER VACATION in TOKUSHIMA
"SUMMER VACATION in TOKUSHIMA" Event at the Kansai Pavilion Join us for a special event themed around “SUMMER VACATION in TOKUSHIMA,” held at the Kansai Pavilion Event Hall! ATC OCEAN WEEK
Osaka Bay is so rich in seafood that there is a theory that Osaka's nickname "Naniwa" comes from "fish garden". On the other hand, the depletion of fishery resources and the problem of marine plastic waste are global issues, and Osaka Bay is no exception. This year, in conjunction with the Seafood Show, the largest trade fair for fishery-related products in western Japan, the "ATC Marine Week - What we can do for the future of life" will be held, with the theme of improving marine pollution and preserving fishery resources, and SDGs-related seminars and exhibitions will be held for business travelers on weekdays. On weekends, there will be events for families to pick up trash in the sea (a jellyfish boat (a radio-controlled robot that collects trash) and volunteer divers will work together from the quay, and participants will use nets to pick up trash in the sea. The plan is to make a kaleidoscope with the trash they collect), a lecture on fish in Osaka Bay, a fish quiz, a seafood market, and an Expo booth, providing an opportunity to think about what they can do to protect the richness of the sea.

Environmental Hero Drama: Thinking Together About Social Issues
We are connecting SDG Goal 11, which focuses on sustainable cities and communities, with Goal 13, which emphasizes concrete actions against climate change. Together with local children, we aim to think about the future of the Earth alongside adults through screenings and workshops. We also convey the importance of Goal 4, which is quality education for all, and Goal 7, which is affordable and clean energy for everyone. Through clean activities with our business partners and local community members, we are working towards Goal 14, which aims to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources. We communicate social issues to many people through our environmental hero drama. We conduct experiential screenings and workshops at local events, schools, and after-school programs, focusing on projects that encourage reflection on the waste collected during clean-up activities. Additionally, we have established February 6 as "Blue Day" in collaboration with the Japan Anniversary Association, promoting nationwide clean-up activities for rivers and urban waste that connect to the ocean. Furthermore, we support the "Mirai Koshien" initiative, encouraging high school students' SDG activities. Through the "TEAM EXPO 2025" program, we aim to further develop these activities through collaboration with various stakeholders, working towards the realization of a better future society.

UNI-ONE Experience Tour in Future Life village
Experience Tour of the “UNI-ONE,” a seated personal mobility vehicle developed through Honda's robotics research, will be held at the Future Life Village. *Reservations for the riding experience are accepted at the venue. *Reservations: Morning session reservations are accepted from 10:00 a.m. Afternoon session reservations are accepted from 2:30 p.m (Lines will be formed from 2:00 p.m. Lines formed earlier than 2:00 p.m. will be invalid.) In principle, three UNI-ONE will be in operation, and up to three people may ride the UNI-ONE at one time. (The number of vehicles in operation is subject to change due to weather and other reasons. ) *Due to a limited number of test ride slots, each person may only participate once. Raffia, a plant-based fiber emblematic of Central Africa, lies at the heart of an economic and cultural revival. Traditionally used in weaving and everyday items, it is now emerging as a material of the future in fashion, design, medical research, and sustainable industries. Gabon has a key role to play: structuring its supply chain, promoting its artisanal know-how, and asserting its position in international markets. This event will spotlight the weavers, designers, researchers, and entrepreneurs who are driving this meaningful and inclusive growth sector.
