Yesterday I discovered that Stern Pinball’s Insider Connected app contains a game that you can play right on your phone and earn actual badges. I don’t think that it’s supposed to be a secret, but boy did I have a hard time finding how to navigate to it, so I’m calling it one lol. Stern has since made the game a little easier to find by including an alert about the game.

I tried it. It’s pretty fun. You should give it a play.

After revealing it’s latest pinball module, Portal at the Texas Pinball Festival back in March and touring it around to various shows since - including Pintastic New England which I played it at several months ago, Multimorphic is finally ready to begin production on it “on-schedule later this summer.”

The Company expects shipments of Portal to begin in September, with each batch taking a month to produce. Portal orders that are placed today are expected to be fulfilled in early 2026.

Below are a bunch of pictures that I took of the game at Pintastic.

The start-up company that is attempting to bring a new inexpensive home pinball machine to market in the near future titled Alice Goes to Wonderland, Wonderland Amusements, provided an update on its progress this afternoon.

Representatives from the Company just returned from Hong Kong where they spent a week reviewing first-shot production parts and the latest build of the Alice Goes to Wonderland pinball machine.

This machine was the first one that was built with act production parts. They claim that it felt “stronger, tighter, and more responsive than ever.”

Pre-production samples of the machine are scheduled to be ready in September. Wonderland will share new gameplay video of those.

The other day, Jack Danger shared some near behind-the-scenes photos of the development of the official Stern Pinball Topper for his Foo Fighters pinball machine on his Deadflip social media channel.

The more I hear about his transition from full-time designer to social ambassador at Stern, the more I think that the his next game - which is being finished with assistance from others at the Company, may be the last that he designs. If we do see another game from him, it won’t be anytime soon.

Today Jack did a stream for Stern. During this stream he seemed to suggest that to ease his transition to his new position, other folks would be helping him finish the game he has been working on. His response that I am referencing begins at 18:08 on the stream that Stern posted of Danger today. Do you think this lends credence to the rumor that Elwin now has Pokémon? Will we be seeing a Danger/Elwin combo designer team for Pokemon? If so, seems like a dream scenario. Just wanted to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for the heads up on that. Absolutely, it’s very possible that’s why Jack Danger was rumored to be working on Pokemon for so long and all of a sudden it is supposedly being done by Keith Elwin. We’ll see.
