Quoted from ChuckRock:

How much longer before this becomes the Chinese Democracy of pinball machines?

Probably….For reference the studio behind Cuphead announced the expansion for the game back in June 2018, and it didn’t get released until June 2022…

This studio is known for holding things back if they aren’t ready.

At this point it probably makes the most sense to hold the game back until Expo in October, but who knows.

Start button won't register (switch is good). LOV. Ideas?

Follow the wires from the switch along to the board they plug onto. Be sure it's plugged in. Then check continuity of each wire.

LTG : )

I spent like 40 minutes before league trying to find the damn board. There are only like 50 under the game.

Service mode, Switch test. When you press the start button switch, switch turns green in the test menu? This is how you determined switch is good?

Ok, if switch tests good then check if game is on free play in service menu. Maybe it’s on credit play and there are 0 credits? Did someone install a bill accepter and maybe the settings are wrong? Put it in free play and try to start a game?

Need more info

It does not work in the test mode. I used a meter to determine the switch is good. Game showing 30 credits.

Anyone able to tell me where the start button plugs in at? Like where is the board in the game?

The manual shows the switch plugs into cabinet switch board PCB-0 J8. I'm going to assume this board is behind the big metal box on the left side of the cabinet since I traced the wires to it but didn't pull the box cover off.

Dude. Has anyone actually tried calling support? My buddy called for help, guy was like "I don't really know much about these games." WTF?!

At least he was able to get a hold of somebody, that's getting further than a lot of complaints I've heard recently.

I got an instant reply on e-mail a few weekends ago on the tank target brackets, two followups for a couple parts I wanted to replace and it's been crickets.

Have you / are you also posting these questions in the LOV owner's thread - I'd think you're more likely to get answers there but of course luvthatapex2 has intimate knowledge of the game too.
