Imagine your childs skin starts bubbling off and they almost go blind post vaccination- but you're a Nurse and will continue to vaccinate. My God. "Thanks everyone! She was a trooper! It was very hard to watch her under all the anasthesia, getting fed through a tube her nose... They don't know exactly what shot caused it because her kindergarten shots were combined. It's just something we have to watch for now. Her skin is also very sensitive now. No hand sanitizer, no lotions with scents, and she always has to have sunscreen on. When it first started a day or so after her shots, her skin was so sensitive you couldn't touch her without her crying. She wouldnt eat or drink and when I touched her, the skin just peeled away so I immediately took her to the er. I had tried to keep her drinking but she was so dehydrated and her skin was just... Falling off we were in a helicopter within an hour to a children's hospital. This is what it looked like a day after her hospital admission.I want to say... My daughter had a very adverse reaction to her immunizations. Her skin began to bubble and fall off... She was life flighted to a children's hospital and wrapped and treated as a burn victim. We didn't know if she was going to go blind from blisters on the inside of her eyes... It was terrible. I will STILL continue getting her shots on time. Reactions like this are rare. As a nurse I believe in the power of vaccines. Everything comes with a risk."
