*If you wish to use OS standard messaging app overseas, please turn on the "International calls / International SMS (when using OS standard phone app /messaging app overseas)" service on the "my Rakuten Mobile" app contract plan screen.
*The number of characters that can be sent in one message varies depending on the model and app.

- We assume no responsibility if you are unable to use the services of any of the operators listed due to your device model, the network of the international roaming destination, or the communication conditions of the network of the destination country.

- Call and data charges are billed together with your monthly usage fees.
- Charges for overseas/international services are not subject to tax.
- Communication charges for this service differ from domestic communication charges in Japan.
- Charges apply even if the International SMS sent by the customer is not delivered to the recipient due to the circumstances of foreign telecommunications operators.
- Due to number portability, there may be instances where you are unable to send or receive International SMS with certain overseas carriers if your telecommunications provider changes.
- International SMS may be available outside the regions and carriers listed above. In such cases, communication charges will apply.
- International SMS sent by users of foreign telecommunications operators that exceed 70 full-width characters or 160 half-width alphanumeric characters may be received in multiple SMS messages on some devices. However, this may result in incorrect message reception.
- Even if the message is not successfully sent, communication charges may still apply.
- Customers using the iOS version of the Rakuten Link app will not be able to send Rakuten Link International SMS to users who are not using Rakuten Link. Please use the iOS standard messaging app when using Rakuten Link.
- Customers using the iOS version of the Rakuten Link app will receive SMS through the iOS standard messaging app for users who are not using Rakuten Link.
- The service may not be available if the recipient is roaming outside the above areas and carriers.

- The monthly usage limits for International calls, International SMS, and International calls/SMS (using OS standard phone app or messaging app overseas) displayed on "my Rakuten Mobile" app are estimates and may not always be reflected. Please check your monthly invoice for actual usage and billing amounts.
- Charges for International calls and International SMS (when using the OS standard phone app or messaging app overseas), as well as charges for the incoming call forwarding service overseas, may be billed together with the following month's usage.
- We may restrict or suspend service usage if there is excessive communication volume within a specified time period.
- We may restrict or suspend service usage if there are extended periods of continuous communication.
- We may restrict the use of this service if the communication is congested or is likely to be congested.
- We may restrict or suspend service usage if the usage pattern deviates significantly from normal service use in ways that may disrupt telecommunications services.
- For our overseas/international services, including International calls and International SMS, we have set a monthly usage limit of ¥20,000.
We reserve the right to suspend your access to International calls and International SMS services if your total usage exceeds this limit, but we are not obligated to do so.
Access to these services may also be suspended until payment for the applicable charges is confirmed.
To reactivate your account, you must settle all outstanding charges.
If you wish to lift the suspension, please contact us at 050-5434-4633. - Service suspension based on the usage limit cap may not occur in real-time due to the conditions of overseas telecommunications operators.
Even if the usage limit cap is exceeded, you will be billed for all charges incurred before the service is suspended, and you will be responsible for those charges.
Additionally, if the service is resumed at your request, you will continue to be billed for all charges incurred in that month, so please be aware of this in advance.
- If you wish to make calls or send/receive messages overseas using OS standard phone app and messaging apps, please check on the my Rakuten Mobile contract plan screen that the "International calls / International SMS (when using OS standard phone app and messaging apps overseas)" service is turned on and that it is compatible with the network in your country or region.
- For our overseas/international services, we set a monthly usage limit of ¥20,000 for both International calls and International SMS when using the OS standard phone app and messaging apps. We reserve the right to suspend the International calls service if the total usage exceeds this limit, but we are not obligated to do so.
We may also suspend service usage until payment for the applicable charges is confirmed.
If you wish to lift the suspension, please contact us at 050-5434-4633 via the Rakuten Link app. Note that you must settle all outstanding charges to resume service. - We may temporarily suspend the overseas/international service "International calls / International SMS (when using OS standard phone app /messaging app overseas)" whenever your monthly usage amount exceeds 5,000 yen, but we are not obligated to do so.
If you wish to resume your service, please turn on the "International calls (when using OS standard phone app or messaging app overseas)" service on the my Rakuten Mobile contract plan screen. - Service suspension based on the usage limit cap may not occur in real-time due to the conditions of overseas telecommunications operators.
Even if the usage limit cap is exceeded, you will be billed for all charges incurred before the service is suspended, and you will be responsible for those charges.
Additionally, if the service is resumed at your request, you will continue to be billed for all charges incurred in that month, so please be aware of this in advance. - Charges for sending International SMS (using OS standard messaging app overseas) may not be reflected in "My Rakuten Mobile". Therefore, please note that these charges may not be added to the usage limit for International calls and International SMS (using OS standard phone app and messaging app overseas), which is ¥20,000.
