- Gradual resumption of service on open sections of the Railway in the evening as long as it is safe, however initially at a limited frequency as MTR staff may have to clear debris from the tracks, repair damaged equipment, or get trains to operating locations
- As there are longer open sections on some of the railway lines such as East Rail Line, Tuen Ma Line, Tung Chung Line and the Airport Express, it is expected it may take longer time before full line service can gradually resume around evening time
- The MTR Bus service is suspended
