The American dollar hasn't had a 6 month opener this bad since 1973. With the economy being kind of bad/slow this year so far (because the tariffs). With it estimating to do even worse with the new tarifs. So I guess the US economy is getting by technically, though I'd be hard pressed to say any recent previous US president could have achieved lower numbers in these departments.

Even better, the Canadian dollar gained 8 cents against US since Trump won the election. Buying local has boosted many sectors and exports to Asia and Europe are rising helped by the fact no countries want to do business with Trump. So many more pluses due to Trump's incompetence. As long as he can keep conning his base it will only get worse
