A bit hard to recommend
So my issue with the game is that it's very easy to essentially cheese the entire experience, the AI of monsters, and the ability to simply shoot everything from range with the slingshot because melee is a bit too delayed? That and weaker than what I was expecting due to mostly needing to use the stun mechanic to really be able to whack monsters harder, making most fights the same, shoot from range and destroy everything with the slingshot safely or stun and whack them!

Keyboard controls are kind of wild by default, so rebinding them to things that are a little more comfortable is a lot more of a better choice. For example, instead of (Middle Mouse) F1-F5 for the piggy, rebinding Q W E R makes it just easier to really manage its skills. The controller does a much better job of it, but it also feels a little too... flicky at times, I dunno?

If you've ever played the classic Tak and the Power of the Juju, it feels and looks very similar, but it's like it has been babied and dulled down to be somewhat worse. Because of the several layers of UI and skill keybinds, rather than being simple, it appears to be attempting to be something much larger and complex when it could easily get by without many of those elements. I found myself having to restart the game more than anything due to getting stuck on and inside of things.

Conclusion
I would recommend that you try the demo before considering to purchase the game to see whether it matches your expectations of a game that you would like to play. It's a somewhat open world, with plenty to explore and lots of things to do, the most of which are fetch quests / tasks for progression, which is OK, but it feels extremely boring rather quickly.
