Forklift Student Workbook Version- 6.4 Start Training RTO 22381 Page 2 of 46 Approval Date: 25/07/2024 How to use this workbook and why this workbook MUST be completed before your course! It is very important that you complete this workbook before attending your course. You cannot sit the final assessment unless this workbook has been completed. We recommend that you take the practice quiz in the back of the Start Training Forklift Manual before attempting this workbook. This workbook has been designed as an assessment for the unit of competency and to prepare you for the final national high-risk work forklift licensing assessment. If there is anything that you do not understand, call us (03 9756 0244). The use of mobile phones or any electronic devices prohibited. No study materials are allowed to be used. Plagiarism, collusion or cheating during an assessment is a breach of Start Training Group's assessment policy. 1. Plagiarism means the use of another person's ideas or work and presenting them as one's own by failure to give appropriate acknowledgement. This includes material from any source including students, staff, the internet, or other published works. 2. Collusion is the presentation of work which has been produced in unauthorized collaboration with another person/s. 3. Cheating means to seek to obtain an unfair advantage in an examination or in other written or practical work required to be submitted as part of an assessment. Where there are reasonable grounds for believing that plagiarism, collusion or cheating has occurred, this should be reported to the assessor who may prohibit continuation of assessment and will refer the matter to the RTO manager. It is made up of three parts, knowledge, calculations, and performance. Your assessor will provide this information to you when you attend the course in person. Your right of appeal On completion you will be advised of the assessor's decision. If you disagree with the result of the assessment, you will be provided with the opportunity to either challenge the assessment or apply for re-assessment within a reasonable time frame. You have the right to appeal if you are not satisfied with the outcome, according to the rights and responsibilities detailed in the student handbook given to each student on enrolment.
