it's perfect, i don't care what i said in the past. balled my eyes out in the theatre.

I love movies where multiple people can watch it and everyone can get something different from it.  To me, this short film reminded me of childhood nativity and overall childhood wonder. When you're that young, the world makes no sense and things happen around you that seem so grandiose. You're just trying to make it through your day to day having your basic needs met. And in the end, sometimes it doesn't even matter how hard you try. You don't get what you want and you'll never understand why.

This two-hour movie felt like 10 minutes, leaving me wanting so much more content. The mix of political and social commentary against the backdrop of a god destroying your home was extremely gripping.

Shin Godzilla is such a paw-inspiring movie that I feel too stupid to actually give it a proper review of how I feel about it. I'd need to watch this nine more times before I could begin to articulate the power it gives off.
