July 8: 
national Jiaxuemo Zhang, a student pursuing a Master’s degree in aerospace engineering at University at Buffalo when he was arrested in 2023 and charged with visa fraud — hiding his educational and professional ties to PLA-linked Beihang University in his visa application, pleaded guilty and will be deported from the US.
This was reported in Chinese-language media a couple of days ago but there’s no coverage in English-language media at all…
