Leonard Wossnig

Leo is a serial entrepreneur and currently Co-Founder and CTO at Forgent AI, a company building AI Agents for public procurement.

He previously served as Chief Technology Officer at LabGenius, a London based biotech company that develops next-generation therapeutic antibodies using a combination of robotic automation, synthetic biology, and advanced machine learning to run full design-build-test-learn cycles.

In this CTO role, he is leading a team of Data Scientists (including Bioinformaticians and Machine Learning Engineers), Software Engineers, and Robotic Automation Experts to develop and further enhance LabGenius’ data-driven platform capabilities. 

Alongside his industry role, he is an active academic contributor through his role as an Honorary Research Fellow in Computer Science at University College London. 

Prior to LabGenius, Leonard was VP of AI at Odyssey Therapeutics, where he led a team of machine learning experts to develop a computational platform for generative drug design in the areas of cancer and inflammation. Odyssey raised more than $400M in capital and was one of the fastest growing U.S. Biotechs in 2022.

In 2018, Leonard co-founded Rahko, a machine learning SaaS company focussing on generative AI and predictive methods for small data sets. Rahko software was successfully applied to many applications including small molecule property prediction ind drug discovery. The company partnered with several major Pharma companies and ultimately was successfully sold to Odyssey Therapeutics in 2021. 

Leonard led the company as CEO from the inception until its acquisition. Leonard also holds a PhD from University College London where he was a Google PhD fellow in Computer Science.
