Probably the strangest thing I've found on a video tape. A quit-smoking "brainwashing" tape, my favourite bit is the whole long shot of a mysterious stranger walking through the desert only to reveal A •SPOILERS•.

This came to me on a Umatic tape with a McDonalds label on it, perhaps a franchisee somewhere was trying to stop his staff smoking. Anyway, enjoy.

Process: Low Band NTSC Umatic videotape played on a Sony VP-7040, through a CYP Time Base Corrector into a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle, recorded to ProRes, tidied up then bumped to MPEG-2 using Apple Compressor
