IonQ Inc. raised $1 billion in a sale of stock and warrants to an affiliate of Susquehanna International Group, in a deal priced at a 25% premium to the quantum computing company’s closing price on Thursday.
Heights Capital Management Inc., which directly invests trading and technology firm Susquehanna’s capital in growth companies, bought 18 million common shares and pre-funded warrants in the quantum computing company at $55.49 each, above Thursday’s closing price of $44.39, IonQ said in a statement Monday.
