The 10 best sci-fi movies of all time

A lone figure stands silhouetted against a massive glowing screen that hovers in the middle of a surreal, abandoned futuristic city. The city blends brutalist industrial ruins (evoking Stalker and Alien) with floating digital fragments, like holographic cherry blossoms and cybernetic butterflies (Paprika, Ghost in the Shell). The sky is split — half drenched in rainfall and neon lights (Blade Runner, Matrix), the other half a cosmic view of a mirrored Earth and a monolith floating in orbit.
