Salutations,

Recently, I have discovered a strange issue I’m facing with regarding two decals.

As we see, here’s two decals.
While the first decal belongs to the morph I have used, the second decal belongs to the tool I’m equipping.

If we switch the view to the right side of the decal, the decal probably starts ‘overlapping’, or partially / fully fading the decal inside the tool.

However, the closer I move the tool decal to the avatar, the more the tool decal starts to fade out.

In this case, I kept a long distance between the tool & the avatar decal.

Has anyone got an idea which such would happen?
I tried researching but that’s rather difficult for something I could describe or research badly in a few words.

Any guess is appreciated! :grin:

Perhaps this is an issue with your GPU driver? I’ve had other issues with decals that went away with driver updates.

@LuaConstructor

After some time spent on the consideration, I definitely doubt the GPU driver or any computer components are mainly the reason why such happens.
If you’d like to test out the tool by yourself, I’d gladly provide a link. :slightly_smiling_face:

I feel like it’s a Roblox render bug, this also happens when many transparent parts are placed behind each other, causes them to z fight. Decals tend to do the same sometimes, don’t know why, just know it’s a Roblox graphics thing.

Edit: Don’t know if they’re already working on it but I hope Roblox fixes this Z fighting bug with decals and transparent parts, I’ve had issues with it myself as well.
