Annotations were notes that could be added to videos and were used to provide extensive commentary, create interactive series, correct mistakes, and more.
Annotations were removed from YouTube on January 15th, 2019, 15:00 UTC.
It was created using data collected from
this project, as well as contributions from smaller archiving efforts.
Each item contains collected annotations from videos starting with that letter. Each item contains 64 tar files correspond to the second character of the video ID, AA.tar,AB.tar, etc.
Each tar file contains three letter directories with the corresponding XML files.
