People love throwing out this myth like it’s common, but illegal immigrants don’t qualify for full Medicaid benefits unless it’s emergency services. States have strict verification laws. So if someone has 10 kids and they’re getting help, either the kids are U.S. citizens, or they’re actually eligible. You can’t just walk in and get benefits without documentation. If there’s fraud, investigate it. If not, stop scapegoating families just because they’re brown or poor. This constant dehumanizing rhetoric doesn’t solve anything. It just spreads hate and misinformation.
