VISA EXEMPTION FOR CHINESE PASSPORT HOLDERS EFECTIVE FROM 1 DECEMBER2025 TO 31 DECEMBER 2026

 

NOTICE ON VISA EXEMPTION FOR CHINESE PASSPORT HOLDERS

 

The Government of Malaysia has extended the visa exemption for holders of passports from the People's Republic of China until 31 December 2026.

 

This exemption permits a stay of up to 30 days per entry for visits to Malaysia.  Chinese passport holders must meet the following requirements and present the necessary documentation during security and immigration screenings at theport of entry:

 

1. Passport Validity: The passport must be valid for at least six (6) months;
2. Return Tickets: Confirmed return flight tickets are required;
3. Accommodation: Proof of hotel booking or other accommodation arrangements during the stay;
4. Financial Proof: Evidence of sufficient funds to support the visit; and
5. Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC): Completion and submission of the MDAC online at least three (3) days before the arrival date via the official website: https://imigresenonline.imi.gov.my/mdac/main
