Lorde does a drastic change compared to Solar Power (which is a dissapoinment album in my opinion), but not very different (lyrically) when she worked out on the remix with Charli XCX, she takes a risky route when it comes to mainstream pop with "Virgin", and her statement about rejecting metaphors was genuine.
