Helped needed: Recruiting Crew Member
This is my 4th run and playing as Andrew, as there are some differences between the portagonists, Andrew's recruitment appears tricky.
Sassi: Currently trying to find evidence against Sulman and already went to Muscat and Palembang. I also found the 2 shipwrecks between Socotra and Muscat.
Aji/Nasser: I found the shipwreck in Gia Dinh and triggered the Pattani event. Already have Garaba(event maxed out Latia's) yet I haven't trigger Aji's Clue and Nasser's appearance.
As I remember Garaba will be held by the debt collector, I visited Malacca several times and Garaba is already over lvl 31.

Any ideas what I missed out in their recruitment?

I am having the same issue with Aji/Nasser spawning. I have the shipwreck stuff but Nasser is no where to be found.

The story is different depending on which protagonist.
If you already triggered Nasser appearance and suppose to meet at a bar, try looking around Pattani port for a treasure

It is not detailed enough.
Like I say i already played the other 3 protagonists but Andrew's one is very tricky as the story around it is different

On Aji, as Andrew you need to finish a commerce guild contract in Malacca for Nasser. If you don't see it, I believe you need to defeat the Rasmus fleet first. After that Garaba's event should be able to trigger and you get a quest that leads to recruiting Aji and Nasser after that.

For Sassi, if you're up to that point make sure you actually read the book in the Palembang library, you can find the shipwreck without doing so. After that should just be able to take the chest from the shipwreck and open it and read the list. There's a couple small events in Muscat you can do before that but I'm not certain they're required.

I will try and find the Rasmus fleet. Just out of curiosity it will appear in the straits of Malacca right?

As for Sassi, I have already read it and talk to the guy at the library. He mentioned something about the weird numbers and I already triggered the events in Muscat but still no progress with the quest

Yes, near Malacca.

In that case it should just be reading the list from the shipwreck and you should get an event that takes you back to Calicut.

maybe you must clear 2nd chapter?
in my case i just follow the story line first until they make me go to southeast asia. meet the traitor in manila if i am not mistake. i got garaba and his scene easy.

Aji/Nasser requires you be in at least chapter 3 on every other character so it's definitely possible this is true for Andrew too.

To get Aji and Nasser you need to start the quest for Garaba called Debt Collection and this quest requires chapter 3.
