University of Michigan visiting scholar + dedicated CCP member 
Han Chengxuan (韩承轩) [just to put a face to the name; Han’s mugshot hadn’t been released by the Sanilac Country Sheriff’s Office when I wrote my posts on June 9 PDT)
Han was arrested and charged in a criminal complaint with smuggling goods into the US and false statements on June 8.
Han is currently pursuing a PhD at the College of Life Science and Technology of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Wuhan.
Han was previously the party secretary of the 2nd Party Branch for Biological Sciences graduate students at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and has been named a “红色楷模” (red model).
