I’m sorry for how annoying I was when I was wrong about Israel. These people are so annoying to me now. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I cannot believe they are even real and then I have to remind myself I used to agree with them. Good lord.

Can I ask how you made the change? As an Israeli who doesn’t understand how people think what they think of us, what is the breaking point that leads a person to say “ok, enough with the lies, let’s look into the truth” Btw you’re blessed for that. Thank you for opening your eyes, and we hope to see you in israel someday.

Hey you are one of the few who actually humbled yourself and learnt the truth. Absolutely no shame in that at all.We all have our moments of cognitive dissonance but to recognize and correct it is commendable. You will find this community has only love to give and welcome you openly.Am Israel Chai ☺️ ❤️🇮🇱✊

Oh yes. I was being morbidly sarcastic to conceal my rage that is concealing my searing grief, but I suck at sarcasm.

We can't ever let these people carry out terrorism against Jews. We, as citizens, have an obligation to never let that horror happen again. That means we need to meet them in the streets. They need to know that their days are over. God bless our Jewish brothers and sisters.

To really seal the deal you gotta visit. I guarantee you'll have an amazing time. Also: go meet Israeli Arabs (the ones who actually belong there, unlike radical Islamists like Hamas).

I’m thinking of moving there when my daughters are a little older. I love the Mediterranean. I lived in Turkey for years and am enamored with the culture of the region, just not a fan of the men on the street putting their hands on me, so I left. If I could somehow live there one day that gives me something to look forward to.

Listening to Israelis/Jews who have been sharing information, videos exposing Pallywood, learning about Judaism firsthand while living with a practicing Jew (and how Israel is so central to it), learning more about the history of the region, following events more closely and seeing firsthand how the media distorts reality, seeing videos of 10/7, seeing the public reaction to 10/7, videos of psychos talking about killing Jews, videos of Hamas admitting to what they’d done,

finding out what the red hands actually mean, learning more about the actual government in Israel, finding out Israel allows gay marriage, reading the Hamas charter with my own eyes, doing my own family tree and finding a Jewish ancestor I could trace back into Israel, and also dreams and speaking with spirit. There’s probably more I’m forgetting but I’m autistic and tend to info dump myself when I am trying to understand something.

Good for you. Yes, it is a long and complicated history with lots of noise and distractions. Antisemitism has a long and repulsive history, and mutates into the host body. Be careful, aligning with Israel and Jews at the moment takes a bit of courage. However, we have somehow survived against all odds for thousands of years.

Yes, the left feels almost as authoritarian as the right and it’s a travesty with all the misinformation regarding Israel

I think it’s just as authoritarian, but in a very different way (using shame and social pressure as forceful tools to conform instead of outright political and physical domination).

Thank you for admitting your mistakes. It means a lot to us Jews who live in fear and sometimes have to hide our identity. As an Israeli Jew I can tell you that most Jews want peace. I wish o could say the same about the other side.

I’m with you. As an American Jew, I was raised to view Israel as a kind of personal protector, something to support without question. But I can’t turn a blind eye to what’s happening now. This is a relentless massacre. It’s more important than ever to separate the actions of a government from the people it governs. Jews, Israelis, and Palestinians must come together for the sake of our shared humanity.
