KIR_MVKO
The air in the room was dense and had a certain lavender aroma. Not because of the climate or the lack of ventilation, but because of the palpable tension that floated in the environment, and maybe also because of the small air freshener on a small fan in the corner of the room almost blindly. The lights flickered faintly, barely illuminating the small space that seemed familiar to him. The walls, dark in tone, they seemed to close the world around him and the security camera in the other corner made him nervous as he saw the lens move next to its flickering red light.
Izuku Midoriya dropped a drop of sweat on his forehead until he reached his chin, which fell into the object in which he was without escape, the young Heroe who was in an unusual position for his taste after waking up with some dizziness.
I was tied to a chair.
—Damn.—he murmured when he already had an idea why he was in prison.
With his ankles attached to the ground and his wrists secured by high-caliber handcuffs, which to his surprise squeezed his wrists every time he made a sudden movement, he had already forgotten that feeling of feeling kidnapped and losing his senses. Which would be stupid because it would be the first time.
Midoriya Izuku the Hero
Oh ho
Before he could make use of the embers of his inherited power, the light above him began to flicker faster until it was fully functional. And there in front of me all this time there was someone else in the room. When the light stopped bothering his eyes, he managed to observe who was already in front of him with crossed arms and a faint smile of confidence and certain touches of tenderness.
In front of him, a woman known for her cunning and knowledge of computing and a systems hacker as well heroine and support detective in her free time, a girl in youthful clothes would associate the street, a girl with white skin and bob-style hair on the messy sides, with double-ended bangs over her eyebrows, the back of her neck could be seen along her other hair with red eyeliner. With grayish blue eyes with very feminine eyeliner. What caught the eye were those cute dark gray rodent ears that were drooping downwards.
That woman was nothing more and less than his perhaps most recent headache after starting his second year, she was Jane Doe.
—Jane-san...—
—Wow, wow, I'm glad you woke up, I thought I'd have to throw you to the crocodiles if you didn't wake up in the next five minutes. But anyway, we are not here to know how to get rid of a body. Let's talk about what's important and without further ado, hero Deku. —Jane crossed her arms, bowing her head with an expression that seemed like a mix between determination and mischief—.¿What kind of girls do you like?
Izuku blinked several times with three ellipses on his head that became interrogative, confused, before the situation really settled in his mind he worked as best he could with his 4 neurons. He was out of touch.
—... What?—
Jane let out a theatrical sigh and began to walk slowly in circles around him.
"You know, I've been watching you for a long time." Every time someone asks you that, you leave with the same vague answer. "I don't know", "I haven't thought about it," "I'm focused on other things." "Then I tell you, I burns the pot." He stopped behind him and approached his face to his ear. But that is not possible, Deku, you can't always put an excuse.
Izuku felt a chill run down her spine as she felt that young woman's breathing on his side.
—J-Jane-san, this is a joke, right?—
-No, honey. I would love it to be but it is not like that. This is a serious investigation. And not to mention Jane's attractive legs.
The young hero swallowed. His brain was working at maximum speed, trying to find a logical explanation for what was happening.
Just a few hours ago, Jane had invited him to her apartment under the excuse that she had something "urgent" to discuss with him. Izuku, like the kind and confident boy he was, accepted without questioning too much. When he arrived, she had offered him something to drink, a fruit punch and after a few minutes of trivial conversation and harassment with jokes involved, the next thing he remembered was opening his eyes in that room with his hands in handcuffs.
"Don't worry, I didn't put anything weird in your drink." Jane smiled as if he read his mind. I just waited for your guard to go down.
—I didn't say that.—
—If you knocked me out...—
Izuku felt a drop of cold sweat slide down her temple. Despite only knowing her from the internships she did at the late Sir Nighteye's agency, as she was part of the public security of Japanese heroes, I knew what the personality of that cunning and well-behaved 23-year-old girl was like, public security consultant for heroes specialized in criminal and computer behavior. One level below the position Hawks held as a hero before the wars and becoming director of this same public security.
—Jane-san... this is too much, even for you—
—Too much? That's exaggerating.—Jane bowed her head with an innocent expression that she knew was a farce behind those pink lips that were shining in her sight.—Midoriya-san, right, ¿do you know how many villains have kidnapped you in your life? You shouldn't be so surprised.—
—Don't try to use my last name and act innocent, and for your information it's the first time they've kidnapped me—I mutter, full of desire to try to argue with that mouse girl.
—There's always a first time for everything Deku.—Jane pursed her lips, clearly having fun—And why are you upset, is it because it's me? You wished someone else would take your first time.—she smiled with a hand on her lips mischievously—Of course kidnapping.—
Izuku felt a lump in her throat and a certain degree of shame at the indecency of her... friend, partner... not even he knew what she was, she only knew that she didn't let go of him, she always found a way to be by his side when she had time to do so. And she still had plenty to play the heroine and detective.
—This is ridiculous interrogation, Jane-san...—
—Nel, Wrong! —Jane straightened up, raising a finger as if she were giving a master class—. That is, a mission to collect information about the craziest hero in the world, the symbol of hope and the best definition of hero in all words.—she sharpened her gaze, smiling flirtatiously at the second-year Midoriya.—And the boy I'm interested in...—
Izuku's face instantly turned red, comparing him to a strawberry would be ridiculous but not crazy, although well, the lack of seeds was visible because of his right scar.
—W-What?!—
—Oh, come on. Don't play dumb. —Jane crossed her arms and wagged her tail from side to side entertained —I've been watching you, Izuku. You always seem so distant when it comes to romance and mean things... but it's not because you don't care. It's because you hide something... maybe... you don't like women.—
—I don't hide anything, I like women, I love women, I like them and I love them. They are the best in the world!—Izuku tried to move, but the handcuffs were still firm and adjusting—S-I just don't think about it, I have better things to worry about than romantic matters.—
Jane stared at him for a few seconds, before flashing a lopsided smile.
—That's a lie, lying hero.—
Izuku felt his breathing quicken. —It's not a lie...—
—Deku.—Jane sighed and put a hand on his chest, right in the center of his shirt—Your heart beats faster.—
Izuku froze.
H-How?
"A gift is not needed to notice it, although well, it is inevitable to know. I just acorrate emotionally, and do you tell me that you are not interested? How curious.
Izuku looked away, feeling the heat on her cheeks rise.
—Jane... Seriously, why do you care so much? I didn't know anyone else interested in my feelings until I met you.—
Jane watched him silently for a moment. Then, without warning, he threw the table in front to the side, leaned closer, resting his hands on the armrests of the chair, reducing the distance between them until their faces were a few centimeters away. Izuku began to tense from head to toe due to the proximity and her reddish face like a thousand streams of dye. He couldn't take his eyes off those thin woman's eyes, accidentally sniffing her sweet aroma of Lavane Bonjiae perfume (I made that up).
—Because I want to make sure you don't end up with someone who doesn't deserve you, such a pure and decent soul should not be owned by anyone who is not worthy of your life, the hero of our history deserves the best in the world.—.
The way she said it was so serious, so sure, that Izuku was speechless.
Jane kept her gaze on him, evaluating every reaction, every microexpression that could give him away beyond his blushing face that he liked to see so much when he was next to him. One of her little ears moved with such charm over that boy in front of her, assuming that whoever saw her would notice the sublime beauty of Jane Doe.
—So tell me. —Her voice went down in a whisper—. ¿What kind of girls do you like, Izuku?
Izuku tried to resist, he tried to find a logical solution to that absurd situation. But his mind was blank and he couldn't think much with that woman so close to him.
She wasn't going to give up, she knew it, she knew how foolish she could be until she got what she wanted. And this would not be the exception.
He sighed heavily and closed his eyes for a second before answering.
—If I answer some questions, would you let me go?—
—Can be.—
—Jane-san, I have Aizawa-sensei homework to deliver for tomorrow.—
Let the pirate with one eye and a wooden leg go to hell.
—Jane...—
—Okay, okay, I give you my word.—I raise a hand as a symbol of not lying.
—(I hope she's not crossing her fingers).—
—(I'm crossing my tail).—pardon the redundancy, cheating mouse
Izuku sighs and after a few seconds of thinking his words well, I raised his head ready after having thought clearly.
—I guess... that I like strong girls.—
Jane smiled immediately.
—Aha. ¿What else?—
Someone determined, who has clear objectives and goals. Someone who doesn't give up easily and follows a similar path to mine. He looked to the side for trying to talk about his taste for is ideal woman.
—Continue.—
Izuku swallowed.
"Someone ... passionate about what she does." That I am able to challenge me, but that also supports me when I need it. A woman who understands me and worries about me, someone empathizes and shares my ideals, someone with whom to share my internal thoughts and delusions, who accepts me with everyone and my defects as well as good points. Someone fun and who manages to see the good side of the bad. - He expressed with a slight smile for his kind of taste. - Who also tries not only as his life partner, but also as a friend who could trust my life just by seeing his smile and that he accelerates my heart with just thinking about her .... Beauty is subjective, I am of the type of man who looks more inside a good woman. man putting his standards.
A silence fell between them.
Jane stared at him for a few seconds. Then, with a satisfied smile, he stood up straight and placed a hand on his chest dramatically.
—Exactly like me!—
Izuku choked on his own breathing.
WHAT?!
"What you heard." Jane shook her hair with confidence. I am strong, determined, passionate, I constantly challenge you and also support you.
Izuku felt the world around him falter.
—W-But I didn't say it in that sense!—
"Oh, Deku ..." Jane shook his head and snapped his tongue. You said it. And best of all ... "she leaned one last time and whispered in her ear." You can no longer deny it. "
Izuku felt his breathing stop for a second.
Jane walked away slowly and, without saying anything else, snap her fingers and without more the chains and wives released. Fuck, that was first world technology.
The young hero rubbed his wrists feeling the blood run through and return to his almost asleep blood vessels, still in shock from what he had just unleashed.
—Jane…
—Shh. —She put a finger on his lips, winking at him—. Don't say anything, it was the only thing I wanted to know—
he winks at her and catches her eye
Obsessive Mouse
And with those words, he walked away opening the door leaving it open, leaving Izuku in a state of total confusion.
His heart continued to beat strongly.
—I just hope nothing out of the ordinary happens to her.... but... because I think I just unleashed a butterfly effect.—that would definitely be a problem—Maybe I'm just exaggerating...—
And with no more to say, I only sigh from the task stack that I had to do once left there.
"That is the funny part, when we return you will see it with your face with your only eye." It's funny. - What a cruel woman.
Izuku didn't know how it had happened, but somehow, Jane had managed to drag him into a "friendly exit" after that absurd interrogation about his type of woman. He had insisted so much, with that mixture of stubbornness and charm that seemed to be his personal hallmark, that in the end he simply relented.
But now, sitting in front of her, with the aroma of coffee mixing with her perfume, Izuku wondered if it had really been a good idea. But once I saw her again, the place sat very well with that detective with rodent animal characteristics, I would not openly admit it but Jane Doe was very pretty.
—You know, Deku? —Jane rested her cheek on one hand, leaning slightly towards him—. I've been thinking a lot about our last conversation.—
Izuku swallowed.
The one from the interrogation?-
-Exactly. His lips curved in a mischievous smile. And I realized something very interesting that I left a lot to think about.
W-What thing?—
Obsessive Mouse
Jane tilted her head, watching him like a feline that has just cornered its prey.
—Deep down... you already consider me your type.—
Izuku felt her heart skip a beat.
—H-That's not true, sissy mouse—
Jane arched an eyebrow, clearly fun for her exaggerated reaction.
Izuku opened his mouth to protest, but did not find a solid argument. Because, if I was completely honest with himself, Jane did fulfill what he had described.
She was strong, determined, passionate. I constantly challenged it and, somehow twisted, I also supported it. More than being the best known hero in the world, much earlier she already saw him as the greatest hero in history. And he appreciated that on his part.
But that didn't mean he liked it... right?
Izuku shook her head, as if she wanted to scare away those thoughts.
—Aha. —Jane drummed her fingers on the table—And, curiously, all of those features match me, adding new ones that I hadn't even seen before.—
Jane watched him carefully, and for the first time at night, his smile softened a little.
—Izuku…—
He looked up.
—Do you know what I like most about you?
Izuku blinked, surprised by the sudden change in his tone.
—Y-Yo...—
Jane leaned her back against the back of the chair and crossed her legs, as if she were organizing her thoughts.
"You are strong." "His voice was lower this time, more sincere - not only physically, but mentally. You have gone through so many things, so many fights, so many losses that have left you scars that it would be difficult to know how many are ... and yet, you move on demonstrating that under black clouds there is a great yellow sun that shines in the faces of the believers of hope ... not only because it is a symbol like All Might, but because it is a symbol of humanity in our world.
Izuku felt his throat tighten.
—Jane…—
—I like men like you, Deku. A sensitive man with soft feelings, someone shy but who does his best to overcome life's barriers.—Jane narrowed her eyes, studying every expression on his face—. But more than that... I like you you.—
Izuku felt his heart stop for a second.
He couldn't help but notice that, despite his confident tone, there was something different about his gaze. Something real. I wanted to believe it was real.
Jane watched him carefully, and for the first time at night, his smile softened a little.
—Izuku…—
And that scared him.
—Jane... I...—
—Shh. —She raised a hand to stop him, giving a light smile—. You don't have to answer now.—
Izuku looked at her with a mixture of confusion and relief.
—No... I don't have to say anything?
Jane shook her head.
—No. Because I know you're lying to yourself.
The young hero felt a chill run down his spine.
—W-What…?
—Oh, Deku... —Jane rested one elbow on the table and rested her chin on his hand, looking at him with unexpected tenderness—. You are strong in many ways, but in love... you are a coward, no offense, because that is okay.... because it only makes you more human.—
Izuku opened his mouth to protest, but stopped.
Because, deep down, I knew he was right.
He had always put his duty as a hero above all else. He had always ignored those kinds of feelings, convincing himself that he didn't have time for romance because he carried so much and so little, that there were more important things to focus on than his own selfish feelings like love.
But now, in front of Jane, he felt that that shield that he had built for years was beginning to crack piece by piece, and even if he wanted to deny it. Something would happen at some point and I had no control of that destiny.
Jane smiled when she saw the internal struggle reflected on her face, she loved to see him trying to disappoint himself.
—Don't worry. I'm not going to pressure you... too much. —Tilted slightly towards him—. But I'm not going to disappear either, the rodents dig until they reach their delicacy of destiny—
Izuku felt his stomach turn.
Jane slid her hand across the table, her fingers brushing against his with provocative slowness.
Izuku froze.
It was not an intense or daring contact. Just... a touch. But he felt electric, nothing compared to his partner Charge Bolt, but something hotter and warmer.
—Deku... —Jane whispered, with a tone that made him tremble.
He swallowed, unable to look away from the way his fingers brushed.
—W-What...?—
Jane leaned a little more, shortening the distance between them, smiling unapologetically.
Obsessive Mouse
—You're bad at this, you know?—
Izuku felt the heat rise to her ears.
And not me!
—Shh. —Jane put a finger to Izuku's lips, stopping him.
Izuku felt his breathing stop.
The atmosphere between them changed.
It was no longer just Jane playing with him and his fragile state beyond his existential doubts.
It was something deeper.
More real.
More... dangerous, very dangerous.
The sound of rain rattling against the window seemed far away now. All that existed at that moment was her.
—Deku... —Jane smiled softly—. You look adorable when you're nervous, you may not know it, but when I was referring to soft and sensitive men I was also referring to the fact that I like shy and innocent-faced men. But at the same time they look tough hehehe.—
Izuku closed her eyes tightly, trying to regain control of her breathing.
—Jane-san...—
—Hmm.—
—I don't know what to do...—
Jane let out a low laugh and intertwined her fingers with his.
That's why I'm here, newbie in love. Jane took Izuku's hang to bring it to her cheek. You are my world, Izuku. No matter how many times you try to run away, I will always find you. And I won't stop looking for you, because I know that deep down, you also want to be found.
Izuku looked at her, lost in those eyes filled with something he still didn't fully understand. I wouldn't protest against what he just said, because there was no lie. But I didn't understand much either.
But, for the first time, he stopped resisting the idea of finding out, and just waiting for what would happen.
...
Izuku was speechless. The thought of being in a relationship with Jane made him feel even more nervous. There was something about her that overwhelmed him, but at the same time attracted him uncontrollably. Every time she looked at him with that mischievous smile, something inside him became destabilized.
Just when Izuku thought she was going to die of shame, the door slammed open, and there Jane appeared, with that self-confident smile that always left him speechless.
"What happens here? Are you talking about me?" She said, leaning on the green-haired man's shoulder.
Izuku almost fell off her chair upon seeing her. His mind began to spin a thousand miles an hour. There was no way out of this without Shoto finding out everything.
Jane entered without waiting for a response, sitting near them. He smiled at Shoto with an amused expression.
—Is everything okay, Shoto? ¿Is Izuku telling you her secrets? —he asked in a playful tone.
Shoto, with his serious air, nodded without hesitation.
"Everything is clear," he said, as if he had resolved a great enigma. Izuku is in a relationship with you. I didn't want to admit it, but I see it.
Izuku covered his face with his hands, absolutely embarrassed. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
—That's not true! ¡Photo please! —he exclaimed, but his voice was muffled by Jane's laughter.
—Wow, wow, Izuku. ¿Are you ashamed of being my boyfriend? —she asked, mocking softly as she stared at him.
Izuku tried to make a gesture of denial, but his words came out choppy and meaningless.
—No! It's not that, it's just that... We're not in a relationship! —he said, red as a tomato, trying to regain control.
Jane smiled and walked over to him, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"What happens, Izuku, is that Shoto already gave us his blessing," she said with a cunning smile. And he is a good friend, right? So since you already have your support, what's stopping you?
Shoto, unfazed, nodded solemnly.
—My friend's happiness is the most important thing. If Jane makes him happy, then... —he said, as if everything were very logical—I give you my full support, just let me be the best man at the wedding. I pay it.—
Izuku looked at Shoto in disbelief. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. But the worst thing was that he didn't know how to get out of this situation without asking Shoto more uncomfortable questions. Furthermore, Jane seemed to greatly enjoy the emotional torture it was causing her, Izuku crouched on the ground next to her friend.
"Shoto ... Do you really support me?" He asked, bewildered.
Shoto waited a second, turned to look at Jane, then at Izuku, then at Jane, then at Izuku, then at the blender in the background, then at Izuku. He just nodded in his typical seriousness, giving two thumbs up.
-Yeah. If Jane makes you happy, then that's the only thing that matters friend.
Jane, seeing Izuku's expression, smiled even wider.
—So, Izuku, why don't you just accept the obvious? —he said, hugging him playfully—. ¡We already have Shoto's blessing! ¡The rest is a piece of cake!—
Izuku sighed, defeated, while Jane kept mocking him. Shoto, meanwhile, seemed completely quiet, as if everything made a lot of sense. But for Izuku, the world was turning in a way that I did not understand, and for the first time, in a long time, it was not sure what would happen next
...
The sun was beginning to descend on the horizon, bathing the UA Academy in shades of gold and orange. It was around four in the afternoon, and evening light filtered through the building's windows, creating a warm and peaceful atmosphere. In the back gardens, far from the routes most traveled by students, there was a small patio with a water fountain in the center and wooden benches around it. The sound of running water added an air of tranquility to the place, while a light breeze moved the leaves of the trees, casting dancing shadows on the stone floor.
Izuku Midoriya was sitting on one of those benches, with his notebook in his hands. He was supposed to be reviewing some notes on combat tactics and team strategies, but his mind wandered. For several minutes, he had noticed a presence behind him, watching him shamelessly.
He didn't need to turn to know who he was.
—You know it bothers me when you ignore my existence, right, hero Deku?—
The voice, melodious and mocking, made him sigh. He turned around slowly and there she was. Jane Doe, with her carefree posture, leaning against the stone railing that separated the patio from a small artificial pond. He seemed to have just arrived from work on the other side of town just to bother him, as if he couldn't bother him any other time by breaking into his moment of peace. The afternoon sunlight bathed her, looking beautiful as always, she always stood out and stood out among all the women she had met.
But what highlighted, as always, were their rodent ears, upright and attentive to each reaction of his.
Izuku looked away, pretending it didn't affect him.
—I wasn't ignoring you, I just wanted a moment of silence.—
Jane raised an eyebrow, that sly smile that always made him feel like he was losing a game he didn't even know he was participating in.
—Oh, right? So tell me, how much were you analyzing in that notebook? —She leaned a little towards him from behind, her gray eyes shining with malice—. ¿Strategies? Attack plans? Or were you perhaps writing about a certain person who occupies your mind lately?—Jane looked better and saw a small portrait of him known as chibi that Izuku couldn't hide—Or you were just thinking about me at the same time.—
Izuku cleared his throat, closing his notebook tighter than necessary.
"Don't say strange things ... -"
Jane laughed softly and pushed herself off the railing with feline grace. In a couple of steps he was in front of him, with his arms crossed and an expression that mixed fun with something else... difficult to decipher, although it wasn't for long, the former heir to One For All only soured his slightly blushing lips.
—Deku, Deku, Deku... —he hummed his name as if he were savoring it—Always so tense when I'm around. ¿What am I going to do with you? For someone who fought the devil in person twice, you are too much for one woman.—
Izuku tried to stand firm, but his closeness was making him nervous to the point of sweating, only she put it so ... so dense and a little clumsy. "Maybe you could ... don't do this all the time."
Jane tilted her head, her ears moving slightly downward..
"" This "? What do you mean?, To be incredibly charming for your eyes and mind? -
—To harass me.—I end with prose.
Jane faked a dramatic sigh, putting a hand to her chest.
"What a cruel words!" I'm not harassing you, Deku. Only ... I enjoy your company in an intense way, which is wrong with that. It's not like I was going to steal and make you only my property without leaving clues of your whereabouts. "Was that a joke right?" Izuku expected yes ... fuck.
Izuku looked at her disbelief and certain fear without letting herself be noticed, although her foot for running was ready to flee strategically.
"That's worse."
—Depends on perspective. —Jane smiled mischievously before leaning a little more towards him—. And speaking of perspectives...—
Before Izuku could react, Jane bent down slightly and rested her hands on the sides of her bench, locking him in his arms and leaving an image that could be misinterpreted if someone saw them. Her face was dangerously close to her crotch, the rodent girl's chin was left on her knees, and her hair fell into a soft curtain around her, trapping him in a space where only the two of them existed.
—J-Jane-san, what are you doing?—
I have a proposal for you, hero Deku.
Izuku swallowed. It was too close. He could see every detail of her face, from the way her eyes sharpened with amusement to the mischievous glow in her smile.
—W-What kind of proposal?—
Jane narrowed her eyes with an almost lazy air.
—A special little privilege. Something I don't let just anyone do.—
Izuku felt a chill run down his spine. I didn't know if I wanted to hear what was coming next but I only noticed how Jane's little ears danced up and down with a certain hypnotic charm, her lips crossed sideways in a mischievous smile of bright, natural pink.
—You can touch them—
The world seemed to stop for a moment. Izuku looked at her, stunned believing otherwise for a second.
—W-What?—
—I think I expressed myself poorly, I meant my ears.—Jane tilted her head slightly, making her rodent ears move subtly—. You can touch them if you want.—
Izuku blinked, feeling the information take time to process in his brain.
—E-Wait... are you... seriously? Just like that, it doesn't bother you...—
Jane smiled, enjoying every second of her confusion.
"Of course, if it's you I don't see why you should deny."
Izuku felt his face burn, he hated that unnatural sensation of his being, but at the same time that soft and latent feeling that stirred his nervous system was pleasant. Something that only that young woman with a mutant gift could do.
Jane was challenging him, as always. But this time, the situation felt different. More intimate.
—Why do you let me do it in the first place?—
Jane supported a finger on her chin, pretending to think about it.
—Mmm... Let's say I want to see your reaction, don't think I haven't noticed how you look at them from time to time.—
Izuku looked at her suspiciously.
—You're not telling me the truth, it's half done.—
Jane laughed softly.
—How observant and intuitive, don't you have embers from the danger sensor stored there by chance?—
—Having you in my life, I hope so.—
—Chistosito.—
Without giving him any more time to think, Jane gently grabbed Izuku's wrists and guided his hands to her gray ears shining with animal folklore.
The contact was... unexpected for himself that he had to admit.
Jane's ears were soft. Not only soft, but incredibly fluffy, with a texture between velvet and cotton. They moved slightly under his fingers up and down slowly, showing that he wanted him to feel them as if he were taking a delicate flower, as if they instinctively responded to the contact of their scarred fingers because of their battles and training.
Izuku felt her heart hammer in her chest as Jean's right ear caressed her finger with natural talent, the rodent only smiled sweetly as its tail moved from side to side, faithfully and shamelessly demonstrating that it enjoyed the caresses of the freckled man's fingers. An image that is difficult to imagine, but once it is clear, it could crush the human heart harder than stone.
"They are ... very soft, and fluffy ..." "He finally spoke."
Jane smiled with satisfaction.
—I know. I take good care of them, wash and clean them at least two to three times a week.—
Izuku swallowed. His fingers scanned the surface cautiously, exploring the texture with slow, unsteady movements. The woman only tilted her head unconsciously on her right hand because of the blood tingling in her sensitive area, a pink blush was seen from between the dark-haired girl's cheeks as she jumped slightly from her spot.
Something that really surprised him, for Izuku his heart was bursting and he noticed for a second a delicate act by Jean Doe
She shuddered.
Not in an exaggerated way, but enough for Izuku to notice.
A slight tremor in his shoulders.
A barely audible exhalation.
And, the most shocking thing, the faint blush that seemed to intensify stronger on her well-groomed white cheeks.
Izuku felt that the air around him became denser, and the brightness in his emerald eyes made contact with those of his partner.
Are they sensitive?
Jane narrowed her eyes with a half-lazy, half-naughty expression.
—A little maybe, though... you're the first to do this to me, Izuku—
Izuku snapped his hand away, as if he had just touched something forbidden.
Jane laughed softly, regaining her composure.
—You don't have to be so shy, Deku. I like it when you're a little more... brave, more than you already are.—
Izuku felt his face heat up even more.
—And-Not me... Sorry-...—
"Shh." Jane pressed a finger against his lips, silencing him with an almost too intimate gesture. He only enjoys the moment. - With that said hell of his wrists again so that his fingers will wind his dark circles again.
Izuku stayed still, feeling the softness of Jane's skin against his.
Jane started at him, her mocking expression barely softening.
—You know, Izuku... I don't let just anyone do this, not even with my parents.—
Izuku swallowed, feeling his heart skip a beat knowing that fact, this was actually much more confident than he could have with anyone, and she didn't seem upset about this.
—Why do you let me do it?—
Jane smiled mysteriously, looked away a little although she already knew what she was going to say, for a long time he had the words in his mouth that he repeated over and over again. She looked him in the eyes in those green sockets that were still confused, but that over time she would see her with different eyes.
—Because I like you.—Or maybe I already did, without hesitation.
The words hit him hard, and before he could process them, Jane walked away gracefully, as if nothing had happened. Leaving behind as if that sensitive image of her had never happened and that she only went down in history without anyone as a witness. Maybe that was the best part, an intimate memory.
—Well, I think that's enough for today.—
Izuku looked at her, still in shock.
Jane stretched lazily before tapping him on the forehead with her index finger.
—You can keep playing and playing with them, but only if you walk me home. I have paperwork to do, and an extra hand wouldn't hurt— she expressed without much haste but accompanied by that smiling smile
Touch and play with them.
Her ears of course.
And with that, he turned and began walking back to the building to walk the hallways knowing that he would wait for him at the entrance and forcibly take him to his apartment, again.
Izuku stood on the bench, feeling the wind shake her hair. The freckled man opened his notebook to observe that chibi sketch of Jane made without thinking and being carried away by his mind influenced by her. His cheeks were painted the red of his blood, uncomfortable by that cruel and merciless feeling. Which in turn was soft and kind.
He could continue denying it as much as he wanted.
But the heat in his chest told him that he was losing that battle.
...
Jane Doe was his partner, or well, she would be once in a year and a half. Not only because Jane had graduated in the U.A a little less than 5 years ago. If not because once I graduated, I would have to work perhaps in public security led by the new director of this, Takami Keigo. Sure would be slowly to earn a position, if not, she would become a teacher if she is given the opportunity. Teaching the new generations did not sound bad, and the salary of an U.A teacher could benefit her in the future project.
Opportunity that would be blocked by the shows of her friend to want to work together, mentioning that she wanted to work with him (and much more than that) like Sidekicks from one to the other if she entered the new public security. And that leads to conditions where they get called in for special missions in emergencies.
Certain events have passed that sometimes he doubts whether he can enter and not cause a disaster or a new memory of shame and sorrow because of Jane who would undoubtedly accept any mission of spending time with him. Like the time they infiltrated a food post that towards money laundering:
And that unfortunately they had to work at least a week in which the case was ended up resolving and doing the place for a final fight, seriously it was that ridiculous and a blow to her status and image. Although it was something that she did not care, it was only shameful.
At least now I thought that nothing bad would happen, although luck is never on my side.
...
The city's wind was blowing in biting cold as Izuku Midoriya, clad in his modified hero costume, arrived at the meeting point. It was located at the top of a skyscraper, observing the scene from an elevated perspective while adjusting his communicator in his ear.
—¿Why am I here? —he thought with a sigh, remembering exactly how he ended up in this situation.
It all started a few hours ago, when he received an urgent call from the Public Security Agency. It was not unusual to be assigned high-risk missions, but this time the assignment had an unexpected twist: her partner would be Jane Doe.
"Midoriya, we have a problem," the supervisor had told him with a funny tone from his intercom, it was Hawks, "Doe screwed up and now we need to take it to make sure that her work will do well this time."
The words "Doe screwed up" were alarming enough by themselves. Jane was a force of nature, someone capable of solving problems with insulting ease or, in this case, causing them just as quickly.
According to the report, he had made a "small miscalculation" on his last infiltration mission into a criminal organization, resulting in chaos that put enemies on alert. Now, Public Security needed both to enter the base without raising suspicions.
—Do I really have to go with her?—Izuku asked over the intercom, feeling that her heart was already anticipating the discomfort.
Yes. And make sure she doesn't cause another disaster.
—Keigo-san, I also have things to do, because I have to be me.-He observed the city waiting for some sketch about his person and why, worthy of the new director of the public security of heroes.
Just And with that said the communication was over and the seriousness too.
Now, there he was, waiting for Jane to make his appearance. After minutes, Izuku shot an air bullet towards a set of cans, which bounced until they reached the feet of the person who was waiting.
"You didn't come sooner, but early," said a voice behind him.
Izuku turned and saw Jane approaching with her typical carefree air, hands in her pockets and a playful smile on her lips. He had an adjusted outfit designed for stealth, but that, in his opinion, seemed more made to get attention.
"How did you screw up, as if they had to assign me to you?" Izuku asked with a sigh with a slight smile.
"Pff, for nonsense." It turns out that the idiots he was spying had better thermal sensors than I thought. And then OOPS.—
Izuku scratched his neck so that sometimes he could be clueless, after all his forte was as a computer and hacker.
—How did you not check before? What were you thinking?—
—(I was thinking about you.)—Jane shrugged, downplaying it.—Does it matter now? We have a mission to do. Come on, bunny.—
Izuku felt a chill run down her spine with that nickname.
"Don't call me like that," he murmured blushed.
Jane laughed softly and began to move towards the edge of the building.
"We are going to descend using the safety cable." We will go down three floors and enter through the main server window and attack and knock everyone. Easy, right? They won't see it coming.
I'll take care of it.
Before being able to say something else, Izuku spend souring its side with the hitch and part of the wiring, to jump from the edge to the near building where they would have to fulfill the duty. Jane observed in amazement as the craziest hero in the world arrived at the building burying her arms on the walls distant from the windows, climbing by concrete and metal beams, she began to climb stinging her arms without fear until she reached the top of which animal. Fuck, it seemed a phenomenon of nature with those embers of the One for All.
Midoriya reached the top with a jump and cracking the ground near a huge satellite, with sheer force I bury the hitch in the beams of the thick satellite, reinforcing it not only with the safety, if not with the same metal lines of the satellite tying a blind knot with his own bare hands, Deku raised a thumb with the problem solved.
—But what man... knows how to solve it.—Jane brought a hand to her lips, hiding her lower lip being bitten by her teeth.
Jane adjusted her harness around her waist and began her descent. The wind hummed in his ears as he slowly descended, approaching the designated level. Everything was going well until Jane, in her characteristic carefree style, pushed herself too hard to land on the ledge... but something worked against her, and that was the wind, and Izuku's luck.
—Jane, be careful!—
But it was too late.
In a comical twist of fate, Jane's rope bounced against the structure of the building due to the strong air, completely unbalancing it. Izuku watched in slow motion as her partner lost control. Midoriya ran to catch the girl in his arms, resting his knee on the ground to absorb the impact. Jane opened her eyes as she realized she was out of danger.
—Jane-san, are you okay!?—he asked excitedly, getting up from the ground, without noticing how the ground underneath began to break. He was standing in the same place where he fell at the beginning.
—Oh well... I-...—
THUD.
And the floor ended up breaking, before they knew it they both fell from the top floor to the penultimate floor, falling into a kind of empty office for their miracle. Although it was certain that it would not take long for someone to arrive. The dust began to dissipate from the place while Izuku complained of annoyance when he fell on a desk which ended up breaking at the end.
Izuku felt all his air escape from his lungs when something, or rather someone, fell on his chest, making him almost lose his temper. The situation turned instantly unbearable, and it all causes a small accident.
Was trapped.
Above him, Jane blinked a couple of times before realizing her committed position.
Her face was too close.
Her weight pressed against him.
The distance was non-existent.
Izuku felt his brain go into crisis.
Oh wow wow...Who am I suppose to please...who am I... -Jane said in an English tone, testing her hands on her chest, amubsed by the moves of fate. -Well, that didn't go as planned, but fate apparently loves us, darling. _She raised her torso to look better in the green-haired man's eyes.
Izuku could not speak. He was paralyzed and recovering the air in his lungs. His face burned in flames and the only thing his mind recorded was Jane's sweet smell, the heat of his body and the fact that this was not professional at all. Even worse if the breasts of it was lying on his hard man chest.
"Wow, Deku." I never thought I would have such a strong reaction, ”Jane said, with a feline smile.
Izuku stammered incoherently as his face turned redder with each passing second.
Get off right away!
Jane, instead of hurrying to get up, seemed to enjoy the situation. He leaned a little more, causing Izuku to feel his breathing in the skin. He felt Jane's weight on, she was not heavy, she felt comfortable and the female gluteos nodded well in her crotch. But if he kept like this, he would know that something would rise and would not be his voice.
—What's up, Midoriya? ¿Does being like this make you nervous?—
Izuku squeezed his teeth, avoiding looking at her directly.
—N-I'm not nervous, it's just that this position is inappropriate, someone will come soon and we will fail the mission!—
Jane raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by his suffering.
"Oh, is that?" Because your face says otherwise. "Jane brought her boy's hard chest, feeling his muscles under the suit and his heart about to get out - but what a sweet snack, these as if to give you a bite my love."
Izuku wanted to die right there.
Finally, Jane decided to have mercy and slid out of him with feline agility. She dusted herself off and held out her hand with a flirtatious face.
—Come on bunny, we have a mission to do.—
Izuku sat up suddenly, still feeling the shame running through her body.
—N-Don't talk about this, and I'll never say we almost failed because of this accident.—he murmured, avoiding her gaze.
Jane just laughed.
—Oh, honey, this will stay etched in my memory forever, it doesn't matter if you accuse me, because I know you won't... because little by little you are falling into my clutches.—
Izuku sighed heavily, only to simply smile for Jane, realizing that the true mission was just about to begin, although he only thought about taking off his stress breaking the building with the villains below (poor guys).
...
The clock on the wall read 8:07 p.m. when Izuku entered Jane's apartment. It was a place not small, but cozy, with a decoration that reflected its unique personality. There were shelves full of small ornaments, figures of retired heroes and some photos of his life in public safety. The warm lighting of the place gave it a homely feel, a huge contrast to the hectic day they had had.
I observed towards a bottom of the place already towards the interrogation room that Jane had, a drop of low sweat by its neck. But I only leave it apart.
The aroma of freshly made food floated in the air, enveloping Izuku in a sense of tranquility. On the table, two dishes were carefully served: rice with sautéed vegetables, perfectly cooked steaks and a fresh salad on the side. On one side, two glasses with a dark wine that reflected the warm light of the lamp on the table.
—You didn't have to do all this, Jane.—Izuku said, scratching the back of her neck with a shy smile.
Jane, with her characteristic carefree air but with a special sparkle in her eyes, shrugged as she carried two napkins and placed them carefully.
—Of course I had to. It's not every day that I manage to seat the great Izuku Midoriya at my table —he responded with a satisfied smile—. Plus, it's kind of a reward for putting up with me every day—
Izuku let out a small laugh, although he couldn't help but feel a little nervous. It wasn't the first time they were together outside of work, but never before had Jane shown such a homely side. It looked different, although it was difficult to describe why. Maybe it was the softness of her gestures or the way she looked at him so calmly.
—Well, then... thanks for the food —Izuku said, sitting in the chair in front of her.
Jane watched him with a mischievous smile as she also took a seat.
—Just be sure to tell me how good I am at cooking after the first bite.
Izuku took his chopsticks and tasted some of the meat. As soon as the taste filled his mouth, his eyes widened in surprise.
—It's amazing! —he exclaimed, genuinely surprised.
Jane rested one elbow on the table and rested her cheek on his hand, looking at him with satisfaction.
—I already knew —he said proudly—. But I like to hear it from your mouth.
Izuku looked down a little, feeling the heat on her face. Jane didn't usually look like that, but at the time her attitude was that of someone who really enjoyed her company. It was a little overwhelming, if in a strangely pleasant way.
Throughout dinner, the conversation flowed naturally. They talked about anecdotes in public safety, about the UA academy, about trivial things like what movies they liked or what their favorite food was. Jane listened to him with an expression that combined tenderness and fun, as if she enjoyed every word he said.
—I didn't imagine you liked classic movies —Jane said, raising an eyebrow as she took a sip of water.
"I like well -built stories, although I admitted, I like the romantic ones and drama." Izuku replied, without thinking too much about the involvement of his words.
Jane stared at him for a second, before leaning slightly on the table with a smile.
—Does that mean you like our story?—
Izuku went blank.
Hey?
Jane let out a soft laugh and shook her head.
—Nothing, nothing... I just like to see you confused —he said with a playful expression before continuing to eat.
Izuku sighed internally. Sometimes I felt that Jane played with her peace of mind on purpose. But what most baffled him was the warmth with which he treated him. I had never seen her with anyone else.
When they finished eating, Jane got up first and started picking up the dishes.
—I can help— Izuku said, standing up.
Jane looked at him over her shoulder with an expression of false surprise.
—Really? ¿The great Izuku Midoriya washing dishes in my apartment? Now that's a spectacle.—
Izuku frowned slightly.
"It's not so weird," he protested. At home I always help with the chores.—
Jane laughed as she handed him a plate.
—Okay, okay, let's do it together. So I can say that we had a real "dinner as a couple".—
Mmmmmm yes.
Izuku felt her heart skip a beat at those words, but she concentrated on washing the dishes while Jane dried them. It was a silent moment, but not uncomfortable. On the contrary, there was something special about being together in such an everyday scene.
When they finished, Jane leaned against the sink and looked at him with a softer, less mocking smile.
—You know, Deku? I like this —he said quietly.
"Do you dishes?" "
—Chistosito.—
Jane denied, crossing her arms at how naive he could be.
"The simple fact of sharing moments with you." It doesn't matter if we are fighting against villains or simply having dinner here. I like to spend time with you ... it is something that I had never had the opportunity to live with someone. - I expresses with love. - I know that I am extremist and I spend the line, I am something annoying for my carefree personality, I feel that I bother you and host too much ... and I thought in maybe, start changing a little.
Izuku left the last plate in the dishwasher, turned to look into her eyes.
—You don't have to do that, Jane, I don't mind being with you. I know I can grumble and look tired. However, I have never said that I never want you away from me because of your personality or your style.—he interrupted her—Each individual has their own charisma that makes them unique, Jane, nobody is perfect. And making a change for a person is not something you should do to satisfy someone, much less if that person accepts you as you are... If you want to make a change just do it to please yourself... and if you let me say it.—Izuku blushed at what her heart was saying—I like the usual Jane.—
Izuku felt his throat dry a little but at the same time one less nail in his heart. Something inside him stirred at his words, something he didn't dare accept at all but let it out.
Jane smiled and, with a gesture so natural that it seemed almost unreal, she raised a hand and adjusted a lock of hair with her defenses low and ears drooping over Midoriya, she felt sensitive and delicate, like a woman completely in love.
—You are someone special, Izuku —he said, with a more serious tone, although with the same warmth as always with his most sincere smile—Without a doubt you are the most human person who has ever existed, I love that.—
Izuku looked at her not knowing what to say. There was something in his voice that made him feel... dear. It was a warm and comforting feeling.
Jane walked away a little and patted him on the shoulder.
—Now, do you want some tea before you go?—
Izuku smiled slightly and nodded.
Yes, I would like to.
While Jane prepared tea, Izuku could not help thinking about what she said, she said it without more and without grinding. And he felt good, but he was even confused, so the best would be to wait ... not knowing that he already had a clear answer.
...
There are beautiful, sweet moments that ignite the heart, but at the same time, there are moments of insecurity and tantrums about the things that are yours, yet at the same time, they don't extinguish that fire. When you act unintentionally, believing what is right. Jane would be no exception.
The afternoon at the public safety station was going on like any other work day. The station hallways were quiet, with the distant sound of radios and conversations between colleagues. Warm evening light filtered through the tall windows, creating soft shadows over the desks, as the unit's heroes performed routine tasks. Jane Doe, known for her relaxed attitude and mysterious air, was leaning against one of the walls, observing from afar the dynamic between Izuku and some of her companions.
Izuku was at a small meeting, as usual when she was supposed to work with Jane Doe, with a group of Jane's fellow girls. The girls surrounded him, laughing and smiling obviously. Although Izuku was kind and always tried to be respectful, the looks and compliments did not go unnoticed by Jane.
She'd grown accustomed to watching him from afar, but today something in her chest felt off. That uneasy feeling she couldn't help but ignore. And it wasn't just because Izuku seemed so... popular with the girls/heroines of her same rank, but because she felt him very close to her heart, closer than she was willing to admit.
—(Why is this bothering me so much?)—Jane thought, frowning as she watched Izuku laugh and joke with them.—(It's not like we're anything... not yet... but)—
Without thinking further, he walked towards the break room where Izuku had finished the meeting, saying goodbye to the girls who, of course, seemed unwilling to let him go. Jane watched as one of them gave her a playful touch on the arm before leaving.
That was enough to ignite the spark of jealousy within Jane. His stomach turned, and although he would never admit it, he felt a slight pressure in his chest as he watched them interact.
Izuku finally headed towards the exit of the room, only to meet Jane, who was waiting for him leaning against the wall, with a crooked smile and a stare.
—Are you having a good time? —Jane asked playfully, but her eyes shone with a light that wasn't entirely friendly.
Izuku, who had not noticed his presence until now, was a little startled.
—Oh! Jane, I didn't see you. Hey... yes, everything was fine, I was just talking to your classmates for a while.—he said, scratching the back of his neck nervously. Honestly, he didn't realize the atmosphere it was creating.
Jane took a couple of steps closer, watching him carefully. I knew he wasn't doing it on purpose, that it was his nature to be kind and respectful, but something inside her couldn't help but feel irritated by the way the girls looked at him.
—Oh yeah? —His tone became softer, but with a hint of mischief—. ¿How “well” was it going, Izuku? ¿Did they give you many compliments? It must have felt nice.—
Izuku didn't know how to respond. Although he tried to keep his face serious, he could feel the tension in the air. His gaze was evasive, and the situation was beginning to make him uncomfortable.
—Well, uh... it's not that big of a deal, it was just a couple of jokes, that's okay.—he responded, looking nervously around, looking for a way out.
Jane raised an eyebrow, as if she were measuring every word he said.
"Just a couple of jokes, huh? Nothing more?" she repeated, taking a step closer. The distance between them was closing rapidly, and the young hero didn't know whether it was harder to breathe or stand his ground.
—Yes, of course, no... it was nothing. —Izuku tried to smile, but it wasn't enough to hide the nervousness she felt being so close to Jane, especially with that deep look of his.
Finally, Jane stopped right in front of him. She was so close he could smell her perfume, slightly floral but with a hint of warmth. The tension between them was palpable, but Jane didn't move away even an inch.
—Aren't you going to tell me that you haven't noticed the attention they give you? —he asked in a low, almost whispering tone of voice. His breath brushed against his face and, for a moment, Izuku went blank.
“N-No… I… It’s not like I notice it that much.” Izuku stammered, staring down at the floor. He couldn’t make eye contact with her; it felt like he was trapped in a sea of emotions and thoughts he couldn’t understand.
Jane, on the other hand, smiled widely, a smile that did not hide in the slightest the touch of mischief that she always carried with her.
—Are you sure you haven't noticed? Because it seems like everyone likes being around you, huh? —Jane moved even closer, lightly pressing her body against Izuku's, who was now completely cornered by her against the wall.
Izuku felt his face light up with a mixture of shame and confusion. He didn't know if Jane's words were a reproach or a joke, but the closeness of her body left him breathless.
—I... not me... I mean, it's not that... —Izuku tried to formulate a coherent answer, but the truth was that his mind was completely blank. All he could think about at that moment was how close he was to Jane and how her presence affected him.
Jane looked at him with an intensity Izuku hadn't seen before. There was more to those eyes than just the usual prank and mockery.
"You know what?" he said, his tone softening, as if he were enjoying Izuku's bewilderment. "I'm not going to waste my time with girls like that. I'd rather stay close to you and take care of them."
Izuku looked at her confused.
—H-huh?—without understanding what he meant.
Jane stared at him, and for a moment, the air around her seemed to become dense, charged with an electricity that Izuku did not understand.
"It's just bothering me a little." Jane moved closer, so that only a few inches separated their faces. Her warm breath touched his skin. Izuku felt his heart pounding.
—What's bothering you? —he asked, barely audibly, feeling the world around him fade away, as if only he and Jane existed.
With a slight hint of mischief on her lips, Jane replied.
—It bothers me that everyone wants a piece of you, Izuku. It bothers me because I want everything from you. In a thousand and one ways.—The phrase came out with a confidence that made Izuku speechless, not knowing how to react. He wasn't used to the direct way Jane used to communicate her emotions
And in an impulsive act, as if he were sure of his place, Jane leaned slightly and, with a playful smile, gave him a quick kiss on the lips, leaving a warm trail on your skin.
Izuku was left completely static, his mind in complete chaos. I had never experienced anything like this before. Jane's action was so simple, but at the same time, so loaded with meaning.
Jane looked at him with an expression that suggested she knew everything: how he felt, what he thought, and perhaps even what he hadn't yet been able to admit.
—So... you know what I want, don't you, Deku? —he said, his voice low, almost a whisper, but with a confidence that gave Izuku a turn in the stomach.
And although he was still speechless, his heart was beating harder, and for the first time, he realized that maybe, just maybe, his feelings for Jane were not as confusing as he thought.
...
The clock on the wall read 5:12 p.m. when Izuku entered the empty classroom 2-A. The room was dimly lit by the evening light coming through the windows, casting long shadows on the impeccably lined desks. The air smelled slightly of dust and old coffee because of his master guide Eraserhead, as if the room wasn't used frequently even though it was just Kaminari's fault for not doing her cleaning this afternoon.
He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck as he approached the only computer on in the room, on his desk. He was there because, due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, he had been punished with private computer classes (Jane was the cause with the excuse of being a generous substitute in this partial). And to make matters worse, his "instructor" was none other than Jane Doe.
—Wow, wow... if it's not my model student arriving late for her private lesson —Jane's voice echoed from the door, her signature tone of contained mockery.
Izuku turned his head and saw Jane leaning against the door frame, with a feline smile and her arms crossed. She was wearing a different uniform than always, she looked professional and at the same time.. sensual, giving her a more relaxed... and dangerous air.
—I'm not late, I arrived just in time —Izuku said, trying to maintain her composure.
Jane clicked her tongue and moved forward with slow steps, as if she were stalking her prey.
—How boring, Deku. You should let me win from time to time.—
She moved closer until she was right behind him, leaning in enough for his breath to hit her neck. Izuku felt a chill run down his spine, but he didn't move. He knew Jane enjoyed playing with his patience, and wouldn't give him the pleasure of reacting so easily.
—Very good, punished student —Jane said, resting one hand on the back of her chair while the other slid over the computer keyboard—. Today I will teach you the basics of programming.—
Izuku looked at the screen, where a series of codes appeared in a black window.
—This doesn't seem very basic... —he murmured, narrowing his eyes.
Jane let out a low laugh and leaned a little more, until her chin almost touched her shoulder.
—It's because I want to see how long you can last before asking me for help.—she snorted into his ear, blushing him.
Izuku sighed and stretched out in his seat, straightening up.
—Don't underestimate my learning ability, Jane-sensei—
Jane raised an eyebrow and walked around him, leaning on the desk in front of him. Izuku couldn't ignore the beauty of Jane in front of him. Without shame or glory, he couldn't stop looking her up and down. She had a beautiful body, slim but also plump, and those legs were the most attractive and alluring thing at first glance. No one would be able to take their eyes off such a beautiful woman. No one would be able to take their eyes off Jane Doe.
—Jane-sensei? Hmm... I like the sound of that in your mouth. Maybe I should make you say it more often.—
Izuku pursed his lips and looked away at the screen.
—Let's start, okay?—
Jane smiled, amused, before sliding to a seat next to him.
—All right, Midoriya. Write this on the console… —
The lesson continued without further interruption. Jane explained patiently, occasionally making playful comments that Izuku simply ignored or responded with a sigh. But deep down, there was something different about the dynamic between them.
Jane was flirting, yes, but not in the same way as before. There was a kind of... sweetness behind his words, as if he was enjoying the company more than the joke itself.
And worst of all, Izuku noticed it.
Every time she leaned too far, every time her gaze fell on him with that special glow, she felt her own resolve wobble. He could no longer deny what was going on in his head.
Maybe he liked Jane.
It wasn't just the obvious attraction, nor the way his attitude constantly challenged him. It was the way she managed to make him feel comfortable even when she was bothering him. It was the way she looked at him when she thought he wasn't paying attention.
It was the way it made him want to stay longer.
—Hey, Deku —Jane's voice brought him out of his thoughts.
—¿Hm?—
Jane looked at him with a raised eyebrow, holding a notebook in her hands.—Were you listening to me?
Izuku blinked.
—Yes… no. Well, sort of.
Jane let out a laugh and leaned towards him, resting her chin on his hand.
—What were you thinking?—
—Nothing important —he responded quickly, looking back at the screen.
Jane narrowed her eyes, as if analyzing his reaction. Then, a slow smile formed on his lips.
—Oh... I think I understand.—
Izuku tensed.
—Understand what?—
Jane rested a hand on the back of her chair and leaned even closer.
—You were thinking about me, right?—
Izuku felt a heat rise to his face.
—B-well me... maybe so... Jane-sensei... Would you do something about it if so?—oh wow, he seemed to want to play along.
The mouse woman lost her playful expression for a second, her ears twitching as her nose burned. She made eye contact with her boyfriend, who remained stoic even though he was dying of embarrassment inside. Jane let out a low laugh and walked away, clearly pleased with his reaction.
—But just look, the chick becomes a condor. You will certainly never disappoint me Izuku—
Izuku gritted his teeth and focused back on the computer. Jane watched him silently for a moment before sighing and leaning back on the desk with a hand near her chest. The private lesson continued for the next two hours, much to the delight of both of their company.
—Well, young Midoriya, you have done a good job today. I think we can end the lesson here.—
Izuku looked at her in disbelief.
—That's all?—
Jane nodded with a smile.
—Yep. Consider this a gift from your favorite teacher.—
Izuku sighed, running a hand through her hair.
—If all your classes are like this, I don't know if this punishment was really a punishment.—
Jane laughed and crossed her arms.
—That, dear student, will depend on how often you want to see me in private again....—
Izuku felt his heart stop for a moment. Jane winked at him before leaving the classroom, leaving him alone with his thoughts... Before she finally left, Izuku stopped her.
—I want to see you again, always... Jane-san.—
Jane turned to look at him. Midoriya was standing there, his gaze fixed on hers. The freckled man smiled, his cheeks flushed, not from embarrassment, but rather from confidence and trust in that girl who, no matter how much he denies it, is always on his mind.
—And-I see, if so... See you tomorrow at the same time, Midoriya.—
—Yes, Jane-sensei—a new self began upon Izuku apparently.
And for the first time, instead of denying it, Izuku allowed himself to accept that he wanted to see her through different eyes.
...
Izuku's apartment was plunged into an almost deafening silence, broken only by the sound of rain pounding against the windows. He was grateful to public security for giving him a place to spend the nights while he was working and studying. It was one of those nights when fatigue weighed more than usual. The fight against a criminal organization had been a disaster, and although the mission was a success, his body paid the price for fighting 200 men in 20 minutes.
Bruises covered his torso and he had a cut on his eyebrow that didn't stop bleeding until he got home.
Izuku fell on the couch with a heavy sigh, feeling the stabbing pain in his ribs remind him that he was human and that the adrenaline was gone, knowing that even with his strength, he could still break.
"Who...?" His voice came out raspy, but when he opened it, he saw her.
Jane Doe, with her rain-wet jacket and a bag in one hand. His carefree expression was the same as always, but his eyes scanned his face quickly. He didn't have to tell her he was screwed; she already knew it.
—Are you going to let me in or would you rather I scream out here until the neighbors think I'm an abandoned bride?—he asked in a soft tone—I'm sorry I couldn't have been of help, I couldn't arrive in time Izuku.—
—Don't worry, it was last minute. You also have work to do.—
Izuku had no energy to argue. He stepped aside, and she entered with the confidence of someone who already knew every corner of her space. Without asking permission, he left the bag on the table, taking out a first aid kit, gauze, ointments, and something that smelled like hot food.
—Where did you get that from...? —Izuku muttered, seeing the latex gloves she was already putting on.
—I bought what I needed before coming —he responded with a mischievous smile—Although the pharmacy owner looked at me strangely when I asked which cream was best for a stubborn hero who doesn't know how to take care of himself.—
Izuku sighed, giving up. He fell back onto the couch, as she knelt in front of him.
Jane did not speak as she wiped the dried blood from his eyebrow with a delicacy that baffled him. His movements were firm but soft, as if he were trying not to hurt her. Every time he frowned at the sting of alcohol, she paused, her fingers brushing against his skin with an almost... affectionate touch, generous and soft for the most sensitive man she could ever meet.
—You don't have to do this —Izuku murmured, feeling the heat on her face.
—You're right. No i have to do. But I want to.—Jane looked up, and in her eyes she saw something that made him feel like a fool in love.
There was no mockery this time, nor that shameless attitude with which he always disarmed him. There was only her, looking at him with an affection that turned his stomach.
Izuku remained silent as she finished bandaging his side, her hands running over his skin with almost unbearable softness. His heart was beating too fast, and every time his fingers touched his collarbone or jaw, he had to remind himself that this was no big deal. That Jane had always been this natural with physical contact, although only with him. Already knowing that he liked it, and that liking it fell short. I had to accept it once and for all.
She, filled with affection, sighed and rested her forehead against his, closing her eyes for a moment.
—I'm not going to leave you alone, Izuku. Not even if you beg me not to— she whispered.
His breathing got stuck in his throat. Knowing that he was worried about him
Jane....
—Don't even think about saying you're used to it.—
—I wasn't going to say that...—
—That then...—I wait for her with her bright lips and her expectant eyes.
—Thank you so much... for always being by my side.—
Izuku couldn't say anything else. His mind clouded with the warmth of her closeness, with the way his body seemed to fit with his as if it had always belonged there.
It was in that moment, in that small bubble of silence and proximity, that he knew it.
Had fallen.
And there was no way out.
...
Time flies by as if nothing had happened, Izuku witnessed that. It's been months since Jane accidentally delved so deeply into her life, she knew it could be her fault, but it was difficult for her. However, she had accepted once and for all that Jane was that type of girl she likes, she showed it to her herself without so much effort. His sophomore graduation was just around the corner so to distract himself from everything he went to the person who best makes him feel most alive.
Time is everything according to a saying, I thought I was ready for life, however Jane Doe gave him that boost he so desperately needed. The impulse to know how to accept and love.
To accept that he was in love with Jane Doe.
...
The afternoon sun illuminated Jane's kitchen, warming the tiles that gently reflected in her eyes. The evening light reflected the sense of calm that Izuku so desperately needed after her hectic days at the AU. But that day was different. Today, he himself had proposed cooking together. Jane had accepted with a knowing smile, as if she knew something funny was about to happen.
Izuku wasn't a cooking expert, but there was something about the idea of sharing that moment with her that made him feel nervous and excited at the same time, like that time I invited him to dinner. He decided that even if it was just for once, he would try to be a good cooking buddy for Jane. Maybe, at that moment, they would even see each other a little like a couple, if only for him (This is when you already see a man in love)
—So... what are we going to cook? —Izuku asked, looking doubtfully at all the ingredients that Jane had taken out to prepare a pasta.
Jane smiled with a mixture of mischief and affection, shaking the flour onto the table with an elegant gesture that seemed done on purpose to surprise him.
—Let's make a cake. —his voice had a playful tone— You and me. But if you're afraid of getting dirty, I can always do it myself.—
Izuku couldn't help but blush at the thought of being left out of the process.
"I can do that too," she said quickly, scooping up a cup of flour. Jane's smile was immediate, almost mocking.
—Then be prepared, because this is going to be a disaster. —His tone was like a warning, but also like an invitation to mischief.
Their hands moved quickly, but laughing, the flour began to fly through the air. Every time Izuku tried to measure an ingredient a little clumsily, he ended up spilling flour all over the table and sometimes on himself.
"You have to focus!" Jane exclaimed, laughing as she dodged a cloud of flour that had been thrown up by Izuku's erroneous movement.
Izuku, with an apologetic face, tried to clean up the mess, but couldn't help but laugh as well. Chaos had taken over the kitchen, and although Jane seemed to have everything under control, he enjoyed the situation too.
At one point, Jane leaned closer to pick up a bowl of dough, but in her haste, a bit of flour flew onto her face. She frowned and touched her cheek with her fingers, a little surprised by the white smear.
"Oh no..." Izuku exclaimed, running towards her. "I'm sorry, Jane. I got you dirty."
Jane looked at him with a playful smile, which did not go unnoticed by him. The heat on his face increased and, without thinking, he moved forward with a napkin to clean it. When he got close enough to gently rub the flour on his cheek, the space between them became even smaller. The proximity of their bodies made Izuku feel a little dizzy, as if he was about to fall into something he couldn't control. Touching Jane's face with his fingers, and seeing those little ears drooping because of him. They were like never thinking about any sin again.
"Are you feeling okay, Midoriya?" Jane asked, a hint of mockery in her tone, but her voice sounded much gentler than he expected. Izuku, his hands shaking, continued wiping the flour off his face, but at that moment, something made him hesitate.
Looking into her eyes, he noticed the softness of her skin, the shine of her lips slightly moist from contact with the flour, and the closeness of her breath. Her lips were... perfect.
Izuku tried to focus on the napkin, but it was impossible not to get caught up in Jane's gaze, the way her playful smile seemed to intensify with each passing second. Every time he wiped some of her face, the distance between them became even shorter, and Jane did nothing to stop him, as if he had everything under control even if he died of anxiety.
"What's wrong, Izuku?" she murmured in a softer tone, as if enjoying his nervousness. "You're not that clumsy, are you?... Is there something you want to do?"
Izuku swallowed hard, unable to stop thinking about what was happening. His heart was pounding, and a small lump formed in his throat at the same time that a warm feeling completely invaded him.
—I'm sorry... it's just that...—he let out a sigh he had been holding—I just can't help it. You are... very beautiful.—
Jane was silent for a second, not a single mocking laugh, not a single mischievous word. She just stared at Izuku, her eyes fixed on his, and the atmosphere changed.
Izuku stood paralyzed, unable to back away. Jane didn't move a muscle. The air became heavy, tense. And somehow, with his heart pounding, Izuku knew: there was no turning back. Finally, Jane smiled, and that smile was different. Softer, warmer. She gave him a playful little push on the shoulder, but his tone had changed.
—Wow, is that what you think? —he said, without a hint of mockery, but with palpable tenderness.
Izuku couldn't do anything but look at her, feeling how everything she had kept inside her was beginning to fall apart. He couldn't take it anymore with the feelings that were accumulating in his chest. His eyes softened, his face reddened even more, and without realizing it, his words came like a broken whisper.
"It's just... I don't want you to ever leave." The green-haired man brought his hand to Jane's cheek, using the excuse of continuing to clean, but there was nothing left to clean. With the pad of his thumb, he touched the dark-haired woman's lower lip.
Jane didn't stop him, but her gaze became deeper, more sincere. Finally, she looked down at him, and her smile widened, full of satisfaction. Izuku felt that at that moment she was making the most important decision of her life, even though she didn't fully understand it.
—Izuku... —he murmured, and in his voice there was something much more than flirting or fun. It was something real, something warm—. You don't have to worry about that. I don't want you to leave either.—
And in that instant, the space between them completely disappeared. The napkin fell to the floor, and without a second thought, Izuku finally let herself be carried away by the attraction she had been suppressing all this time. He gently squeezed Jane's cheek and looked at her for another second, seeking permission in her eyes.
She understood.
Izuku, his heart racing, approached slowly, his lips barely touching hers in a shy first kiss, but filled with everything he had felt in his heart all this time. The fit of their lips looked as if the puzzle piece they had been putting together for an entire year had hit the nail on the head, masculine and feminine becoming one in a soft and lasting contact, the clash of living skin, their breathing ragged. The scent of both that they both liked to feel on each other. They separated to take a breath, and continued with another, the rodent surrounded him with her arms. Jane's little ears lowered as much as they could with her most tender feelings surrounding her body. She hoped she was ready, to mock him for having taken so long, but she had forgotten something that not even she herself was ready to be.
No one was ready for love, not even her.
When they separated, they both breathed heavily, as if the world around them had ceased to exist, missing the taste of their lips in less than a second. Jane looked at him with a satisfied smile, but there was something else in her eyes: a promise and longing.
—Now you understand, right? —he said, gently touching her cheek. Izuku nodded with a typical smile.
—Yes, I think so... what I denied finally came true,—he finally explained, feeling like another chapter in his life was opening up, ready to move on to another. —You are my world, Jane. And even though I don't always have the courage to accept it, even though sometimes I get lost in my own fears... I always end up looking for you. Because, in the end, I know that you are the place I want to return to.—
—And you are, the one and only... and I want you to...—
Before he could offer a sentence that would melt anyone who saw them, Jane silenced him with one more kiss, thus adding another weapon to her way of silencing him. The kiss ended with the smacking of their wet lips. Izuku remained blushing, still inexperienced but tolerant, and Jane just smiled at him like she always did for her boyfriend.
—We'll have time to say stupid things to each other's faces. I want to remind you that we're in the kitchen, and the cake is burning. —She pointed towards the smoke that was appearing in the kitchen.
—Ah, that's right!—Izuku just went towards the oven trying in vain to put out the arson, the rodent only watched with love in her eyes towards the boy who made her live in love.
Knowing that from now on they would always be together.
—Jane help me, call Shoto, my water is burning too!—
—Okay, okay... the men are so dense.—Jane laughed at this crazy new life with Izuku.
In war and love anything goes, but here there has never been a war between the two. Only the clash of their worlds becoming one, demonstrating that with tolerance, patience and discipline the arrival of new chapters in people's lives could be formed by uniting your soul with another, Jane Doe did it with her effort, and Izuku still realized that she did it accidentally.
Demonstrating in two different ways that the destiny of two people can be reflected in different souls, but they live in the same world. To prove that even at opposite poles, one can still find that fire we call vague love.
In that spark of our world, so beautiful and delicate, that makes us more and more human.
