—But what a man... he knows how to solve things.—Jane brought a hand to her lips, hiding her lower lip from being bitten by her teeth.
Jane adjusted her harness around her waist and began her descent. The wind whirred in her ears as she slowly descended, approaching the designated level. Everything was going well until Jane, in her characteristically carefree style, pushed off too hard and landed on the ledge... but something worked against her, and that was the wind, and Izuku's luck.
—Jane, be careful!—
But it was too late.
In a comical twist of fate, Jane's rope bounced off the building's structure due to the strong winds, completely knocking her off balance. Izuku watched in slow motion as his partner lost control. Midoriya ran to catch the girl in his arms, resting his knee on the ground to absorb the impact. Jane opened her eyes, realizing she was out of danger.
"Jane-san, are you okay?" he asked excitedly, getting up from the ground, not noticing how the ground beneath him began to crack. He was standing in the same place where he had initially fallen.
—Oh well... I-...—
THUD.
And the floor finally broke, before they knew it they both fell from the top floor to the second to last, landing in some sort of empty office for their miracle. Although it was certain someone would arrive soon. The dust began to dissipate from the floor as Izuku groaned in annoyance as he fell onto a desk, which finally broke.
Izuku felt all the air escape from his lungs when something, or rather someone, fell on his chest, making him almost lose his temper. The situation instantly became unbearable, and it all led to a small accident.
I was trapped.
Above him, Jane blinked a couple of times before realizing her compromising position.
His face was too close.
Her weight pressed against him.
The distance was nonexistent .
Izuku felt his brain going into meltdown.
—Oh my gosh... Who am I suppose to please... who am I....—Jane said in an English tone, resting her hands on her chest, amused by the twists of fate—Well, that didn't go as I planned, but fate apparently loves us, darling.—She raised her torso to look better into the green-haired man's eyes.

Izuku couldn't speak. He was frozen, gasping for air. His face was burning hot, and the only thing his mind could register was Jane's sweet scent, the heat of her body, and the fact that this wasn't professional at all . Even worse was the fact that her breasts were pressed against his hard chest.
—Wow, Deku. I never thought you'd have such a strong reaction—Jane said, with a feline smile.
Izuku babbled incoherently as his face turned redder with each passing second.
—G-get down right away!—
Jane, instead of rushing to get up, seemed to enjoy the situation. She leaned in a little further, making Izuku feel her breath on his skin. He could feel Jane's weight on top of him; she wasn't heavy, she felt comfortable, and her feminine buttocks rested well against his groin. But if he continued like this, he knew something would rise, and it wouldn't be her voice.
—What's wrong, Midoriya? Does it make you nervous to be like this?—
Izuku gritted his teeth, avoiding looking at her directly.
—I-I'm not nervous, it's just that this position is inappropriate, someone will come soon and we'll fail the mission!—
Jane raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by his suffering.
"Oh, is that it? Because your face says otherwise." Jane placed her hands on his hard chest, feeling his muscles beneath his suit and his heart about to leap out. "What a sweet appetizer! You're ready to take a bite, my love."
Izuku wanted to die right there.
Finally, Jane decided to have mercy and slipped off him with feline agility. She dusted herself off and held out her hand with a flirtatious expression.
—Come on bunny, we have a mission to do.—
Izuku sat up abruptly, still feeling embarrassment running through his body.
—D-Don't talk about this, and I'll never say that we almost failed because of this accident.—he murmured, avoiding her gaze.
Jane just laughed.
—Oh, darling, this will be etched in my memory forever, no matter if you accuse me, because I know you won't... because little by little you are falling into my clutches.—
Izuku sighed heavily, only to smile flatly at Jane, realizing that the real mission was just about to begin, though all he thought about was getting rid of the stress by breaking the building with the villains below (poor guys).

The clock on the wall read 8:07 p.m. when Izuku entered Jane's apartment. It wasn't small, but it was cozy, with decor that reflected her unique personality. There were shelves filled with small ornaments, figurines of retired heroes, and a few photos from her life in public safety. The warm lighting gave it a homey feel, a stark contrast to the hectic day they'd had.
I glance toward the back of the room, toward Jane's interrogation room, a drop of sweat running down my neck. But I just brush it aside.
The aroma of freshly cooked food floated in the air, enveloping Izuku in a sense of tranquility. On the table, two dishes were carefully served: rice with sautéed vegetables, perfectly cooked steaks, and a fresh salad on the side. To one side, two glasses of dark wine reflected the warm light from the lamp on the table.
"You didn't have to do all this, Jane," Izuku said, scratching the back of his neck with a shy smile.
Jane, with her characteristic carefree air but with a special sparkle in her eyes, shrugged as she carried two napkins and carefully placed them.
"Of course I had to. It's not every day I get to seat the great Izuku Midoriya at my table," he replied with a satisfied smile. "Besides, it's sort of his reward for putting up with me every day."
Izuku let out a small laugh, though he couldn't help but feel a little nervous. It wasn't the first time they'd been together outside of work, but never before had Jane shown such a... homey side. She seemed different, though it was hard to describe why. Perhaps it was the gentleness of her gestures or the way she looked at him so calmly.
—Well then… thanks for the food —Izuku said, sitting in the chair across from her.
Jane watched him with a mischievous smile as she too took a seat.
—Just be sure to tell me how good I am at cooking after the first bite.
Izuku took his chopsticks and tried a bite of the meat. As soon as the flavor flooded his mouth, his eyes widened in surprise.
"That's amazing!" he exclaimed, genuinely surprised.
Jane leaned an elbow on the table and rested her cheek on her hand, looking at him with satisfaction.
"I knew that," he said proudly. "But I like hearing it from you."
Izuku lowered his gaze slightly, feeling the heat rising in his face. Jane didn't usually act like this, but at that moment, her demeanor was that of someone who genuinely enjoyed his company. It was a little overwhelming, though in a strangely pleasant way.
Throughout dinner, the conversation flowed naturally. They discussed anecdotes about public safety, the UA Academy, and trivial matters like their favorite movies and food. Jane listened to him with an expression that combined tenderness and amusement, as if she enjoyed every word he said.
"I didn't know you were into classic movies," Jane said, raising an eyebrow as she took a sip of water.
"I like well-constructed stories, although I must admit I like romance and drama," Izuku replied, without thinking too much about the implications of his words.
Jane stared at him for a second, before leaning slightly across the table with a smile.
—Does that mean you like our story?—
Izuku went blank.
-Hey?-
Jane gave a soft laugh and shook her head.
"Nothing, nothing... I just like seeing you confused," he said with a playful expression before continuing to eat.
Izuku sighed inwardly. Sometimes he felt like Jane deliberately played with his calmness. But what disconcerted him most was the warmth with which she treated him. He'd never seen her like that with anyone else.
When they finished eating, Jane got up first and started clearing the plates.
"I can help," Izuku said, standing up.
Jane looked at him over her shoulder with an expression of mock surprise.
—Really? The great Izuku Midoriya washing dishes in my apartment? Now that's a sight.—
Izuku frowned slightly.
"It's not that weird," she protested. "I always help with the chores at home."
Jane laughed as she passed him a plate.
—Okay, okay, let's do it together. That way I can say we had a real "couple's dinner."
—Mmm yes.—
Izuku felt his heart skip a beat at those words, but he focused on washing the dishes while Jane dried them. It was a silent moment, but not awkward. On the contrary, there was something special about being together in such an everyday scene.
When they were finished, Jane leaned against the sink and looked at him with a softer, less mocking smile.
"You know, Deku? I like this," he said softly.
—Wash the dishes?—I blink.
—Funny.—
Jane shook her head, crossing her arms at how naive she might be.
—Just sharing moments with you. It doesn't matter if we're fighting villains or just having dinner here. I like spending time with you... it's something I've never had the chance to experience with someone before.—she expressed affectionately.—I know that sometimes I'm extreme and I cross the line, I'm somewhat annoying because of my carefree personality, I feel like I bother and harass you too much... and I thought about maybe starting to change a little.—
Izuku left the last plate in the dishwasher, turned to look into her eyes.

—You don't have to do that, Jane, I don't mind being with you. I know I can grumble and look tired. However, I've never said that I never want you away from me because of your personality or your style. —he interrupted her—Each individual has their own charisma that makes them unique, Jane, nobody is perfect. And making a change for a person is not something you should do to satisfy someone, much less if that person accepts you just as you are... If you want to make a change, just do it to please yourself... and if you'll let me say so.—Izuku blushed at what his heart was saying—I like the same Jane as always.—
Izuku felt his throat dry up a little, but at the same time, his heart sank. Something inside him stirred at her words, something he didn't dare fully accept, but he let it out.
Jane smiled and, with a gesture so natural that it seemed almost unreal, she raised a hand and arranged a lock of hair with her defenses down and little ears drooping for Midoriya, she felt sensitive and delicate, like a woman completely in love.

"You are someone special, Izuku," he said, with a more serious tone, although with the same warmth as always with his most sincere smile. "You are undoubtedly the most human person that has ever existed, I love that."
