Description
Xlibre is a fork of Xorg server which has been declared "abandoned" and "deprecated" while still having many, many users and use cases. Xlibre grew fast in just a few days and already provides a beta release 25.0 with tons of commits and fixes.
Maybe jump on the bandwagon and have packages available?
There are some for Gentoo already.

Let's wait for some dust to settle and the sensationalism to die down before considering alternative X servers.

there are many regressions noted in the issue tracker, and we do not package beta releases
also, due to the reactionary nature of the fork (i.e., forked as a reaction to something happening on fdo), I don't expect it to last very long once the hype cycle dies down
