The Supreme Court says parents can pull their kids from LGBTQ lessons if it offends their beliefs. Fine. That same logic means parents can now pull their kids from Bible class too. From Confederate mythology lessons. From anything that reeks of Christian nationalism or historical revisionism.
The door is wide open now. And it swings both ways.
What Republicans forget is that they won’t always be in power. And this Court, packed with ideologues, has handed away its own authority to the executive branch like it’s disposable. They’ve weakened the very institution they sit on, just to please one man.
They handed Trump the crown. They gutted checks and balances. They said the president can override federal agencies, ignore decades of precedent, and act without oversight.
And I say this with complete certainty: when a Democrat is back in the White House, they better use every inch of the power this Court just handed the presidency. No apologies. No restraint. The rules have changed.
The Court didn’t just tilt right. It broke itself. Let them live with what they’ve done.
