You’re 23, bro. You’ve barely been alive long enough to remember Blockbuster, but you’re out here acting like an expert on macroeconomic policy. Government intervention didn’t collapse industries. Corporate greed did. We’ve watched private healthcare bankrupt people. Private rail companies failed. Private housing jacked up rent while doing the bare minimum. Public services exist so people aren’t getting steamrolled by profit-first parasites. If a company can’t survive because it has to compete with affordable public options, then maybe the company just sucks.
