btw if i may be a bitch for a second, when I see people draw Ford as a 60 year old still having the back-tattoo from the book of bill, i get very annoyed instantly.

Regardless of whether or not i personally think the tattoo was even an actual thing that happened, the page that it's on has him expressly say he's going to remove it. If you believe in the concept of the tattoo at all, surely you must also believe in his feelings about it/his distress over it/the actions that he himself stated he was going to take over it.

surely if you're going to draw ford you can at least pretend to care about him for five minutes?

obviously i cant tell people what not to do, but like. You get the side-eye from me. That sucks, man.

ACTUAL lore post for Max now that I've fleshed out his story + don't feel cringefail for sharing my OCs lol Part 2 soon >:)

Research era Max spans from age 25-30. After graduating uni with a degree in zoology, he moves to Oregon for a fresh start as far away from his home state as possible and ends up in Gravity Falls after many, many a wrong turn. Too tired to give a damn and quite liking how tucked away the town is, he impulsively decides to move in.

He works as a library assistant to make ends meet, researching the anomalies of the town in his free time after a choice encounter with the gnomes (he isn't fit to be a queen!) Max absolutely despises the large amount of books Ford checks out from the library at a time, and even more so how late he is to return them. Their first meeting as well as how Max became Ford's research partner is detailed in this post! With his specialization in ethology, Max specifically studies the behavior of anomalies in their natural habitats.

Before Ford summons Bill, Max is sent a letter asking him to join in a wildlife conservation project back in Florida and, coincidentally, doesn't return until the day Stan arrives at Ford's cabin. He ends up portalled along with Ford when attempting to save him.
