Been lurking for a while as I'm an infrequent mongerer but been doing p4p for over 10yrs in both Europe and SEA. I've been enjoying regular business trips to Jakarta for over 5 years and usually take the easy/lazy route of staying at Shang/Mulia and bringing the girls up from their respective bars. I know it is quite expensive for what you get but there are some real gems that you can find (e.g. IDR3m to 4m for a mid-20s spinner/gym bunny providing full GFE, speaks decent English and provides everything but anal) that you can enjoy at the bar/dance floor then for LT in the comfort of a very nice room).
To mix it up, I finally ventured out on my last visit and headed to the much-referenced Hotel Travel.

Highlights:
- Took a grab there at 11pm (a bad choice of timing but more on that later) and found the entry on the left-hand side of the actual hotel.
- Usual wrist tag (to pay for drinks at the end) at reception where they speak English
- The venue is split into 3 areas – disco area, girls' lounge area, billiards area
- You head to the disco area where there are metal high chairs and round tables in the middle where you can drink and watch the girls dance in lingerie but pretty lame and only popular with the locals who smoke like trains and make the whole experience less enjoyable.
- The real action is the next room beyond where 50/60 girls are hanging around in groups with their mama-sans and their sofa/chairs. The majority could not be bothered and were talking amongst themselves and looked grumpy/drunk/tired/sad. I would say that the majority were 4/5s with no one above a 7.
- Mama-sans were not too pushy and easy to swat away with a polite "I'm ok and will just look around".
- Once I spotted a group with some potential, I asked the mama-san to bring girls that matched my taste. Using a laser pointer, the mama-san gives her suggestions. I picked one that was small, young, no baby body, and had a pretty face (round eyes are the thing for me). It was IDR375 for ST for 1 girl that I paid in cash to the mama-san on the spot. Best to bring some small notes in addition to the 100,000/50,000 notes as they have to find change which can take time.
- The girl takes you upstairs to the many rooms. It is a nice sight to follow them up
- The rooms are ok with mirrors on the side, a double bed, a/c, and a shower.
- They asked whether you want to buy a drink for the girl, which I did (IDR30,000?).
- The girl showers and also washes your privates then its back to the bed.
- Service is pretty basic with no kissing and covered BJ and FS, which is fine for me as I'm not a risk taker.
- The girl I chose was pretty good at making the right noises, was pretty tight outside and inside, and I barely managed 3 positions before popping (another reason for not coming so late as I was quite tired by midnight when the deed took place)
- Action over, it was back in the shower together and then a walk down the steps.
- Honestly, if you don't like smoke then avoid this place during the late evenings.
On the next trip, I'll give Classic and Malio a try and compare.
