Pakistani here Pakistani here

To Iranians, I'm truly sorry for what has happened as innocent people of Iran didn't deserve this aggression.

I am from Pakistan, and I wish we had better relationships with Iran, I have no idea why they are not strong already, as both countries are strategicaly placed next to each other and could potentially support each other economically and in many other aspects.

I hope that you guys can find strength in the face of crisis and come back stronger, best of luck..

As an Iranian-Armenian, I am appalled by the diaspora As an Iranian-Armenian, I am appalled by the diaspora

My family left Iran in 1979, as Armenians from Iran. However, to see much of the diaspora in California and across the USA celebrate this is completely disgusting. Many of the diaspora consider themselves “white” and don’t speak farsi and have the gall to say Javid Shah. The prince of Iran is a joke and has not done a damn thing for iranians at home, and if he gave a shit he would have. This war is disgraceful, and if the iranian people and its many cultural and ethnic minorities want to change the regime, they will themselves. This is not the diasporas job to lecture of a future shahist regime because IT WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. Just to make a point to the shahists in the sub, Pahlavi dynasty literally overthrew a democratically elected prime minister in 1953 for the sake of US and Western Interests with THEIR SUPPORT, while the shah was in SWITZERLAND AND AFRICA!

My parents heard the prince’s speech a few days ago and were laughing throughout it. He is doing this for his own financial interest while pocketing the money of the diaspora. To tell the iranian people to protest in the streets and that there is a contingency plan, makes me believe he doesnt want to get his own hands dirty and actually do something for the people of Iran.

The entire world knows you are the real victims The entire world knows you are the real victims

I'm not Iranian but my message to you is Stay Strong friends. 90% of the world were rooting for you yesterday. So stay firm since the world is having your back. You can read any comments in Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, German, French, etc, and Everyone thinks Iran is David fighting against Goliath. Everyone feels like you are the last sword fighting against injustice.

In this world of cowards only the brave ones will be remembered

To the Iranian people, the younger generation will not go into war with any of you because the enemy is inside the gate and not outside the border. To the Iranian people, the younger generation will not go into war with any of you because the enemy is inside the gate and not outside the border.

I want to ensure all of you, we will not go to war and fight against Iran as many young Americans.

The only people that would are the minority that won the state electoral votes.

Not New York—not California.

If they want to wipe themselves out against your military, they’re doing us all a favor.

In an event that we’re all drafted, we will rather die knowing we did not get involved even in combat.

We won’t take peoples lives for an unethical and unjust war.

And I apologize for what that clown did.

He’s a coward and will always be.

He can’t fight, he eats McDonalds and drink Diet Coke, looks like a fat orange pig, and rather have people dead because his opinions said so.

Four more years and I think most of America will vote for anti-fascism.

We need to stop countries that kill innocent children and civilians.

Our homeland has been attacked by foreigner enemy, our countrymen including children & women are dead, I don't care about Politics, Race, Religion or anything else, if anyone sides with enemy instead of their own country, they should be considered as traitors to their homeland #IRANforEver Our homeland has been attacked by foreigner enemy, our countrymen including children & women are dead, I don't care about Politics, Race, Religion or anything else, if anyone sides with enemy instead of their own country, they should be considered as traitors to their homeland #IRANforEver

Support from India Support from India

I feel like you don’t think much of us but to us Indians- war and killing of children is never okay. Our Dosti is as old as human civilisation and we still hold that warmth towards you. I am sure our government is having back channel talks with other countries to prevent any escalation as Iran is an important strategic country for us but nonetheless we don’t want any bloodshed by the hands of so called “torchbearers” of democracy. We Indians love nothing more than peace. I hope there is peace soon and you’ll always be in our thoughts.

Claim that Iran changed it’s name from Persia because of Nazi Germany Claim that Iran changed it’s name from Persia because of Nazi Germany

Recently I just watched someone of Persian descent claim Persians should only identify as Persians and not Iranian because the Shah only changed the name to Iran to appease Hitler/Nazi Germany and associate themselves with the master Aryan race. However, according to my research, Persian is a term of ethnicity while Iranian is a term of nationality and the name predates Nazism by centuries. So this prompts me to ask where exactly this claim came from and why exactly would people of Persian descent not identify with the term Iran/Iranian.

Solidarity with Iran 🇮🇷 From Pakistan 🇵🇰 Solidarity with Iran 🇮🇷 From Pakistan 🇵🇰

As a Pakistani, my heart stands with the people of Iran during these difficult times. The recent Israeli aggression against Iran is not just an attack on one nation — it’s an attack on the dignity and sovereignty of the entire region.

We may come from different countries, but we share deep bonds of culture, faith, and resistance against oppression. The people of Iran have always shown resilience in the face of pressure, sanctions, and direct attacks. Today, we stand shoulder to shoulder with you, not just as neighbors, but as brothers.

May peace prevail, may justice be served, and may the people of Iran find strength in these trying times.

Iran, much respect Iran, much respect

To the People of Iran,

My name is Kylie, and I’m writing from a small town in Nebraska, near the Pine Ridge Reservation. We may be far apart, but I want you to know that I see you, and I support your right to live in peace, to defend your sovereignty, and to be free from outside aggression or interference.

I believe in dignity for all people, no matter their nationality. I know that behind the politics and propaganda, there are real families, communities, and histories that matter deeply. You deserve to live without fear of war, sanctions, or being misunderstood.

So from the plains of Nebraska to the mountains of Iran—know that someone here is standing with you. I hope for peace, justice, and understanding between our people. You are not alone.

With respect and solidarity, Kylie

This situation is heartbreaking This situation is heartbreaking

My mother is from Iran, she moved to the US at a young age with my grandfather who came here for college. This situation is seriously breaking my heart, I hate that this country put someone in office who allowed this to happen. Israel continues to tear countries apart and somehow the US teams up with them and blames it on Iran. Seeing that the US bombed them infuriates me. I know there’s nothing I can really do, but this is just hurting me. I’m in college, I don’t have any motivation, I don’t want to do anything in a world like this. My heart goes out to everyone in Iran, and all the people who have family in Iran. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but if karma does its job I won’t be mad.

To the People of Iran – A Message from a Sunni Turk/Canadian To the People of Iran – A Message from a Sunni Turk/Canadian

I'm truly sorry for what has happened in Iran. As someone living in Canada, I acknowledge that my country has chosen not to take sides or support either party in this situation.

I know that simply saying "sorry" is not enough. I’m committed to peacefully protesting and doing whatever is legally within my power to ensure that Canada does not contribute to this conflict.

I sincerely hope this ends as soon as possible, and that peace is restored.

My thoughts on Trump bombing Iran, as An American. My thoughts on Trump bombing Iran, as An American.

I am at a loss of words. I think it is terrible that Iran was bombed. One of my biggest fears has been war and it is actually happening!

I live In New York City, a big important city to America, likely first to get bombed in war. Seeing all of this happen it makes me scared of what will happen if Iran retaliates.

I wish the best to all the Iranians out there, I will pray that world leaders make peace and they are no furthers injuries or causalities. God bless you all.

I've written my congressperson, but what can I do to make the message better? I've written my congressperson, but what can I do to make the message better?

Hello all,

I am an American of non-Iranian, non-Middle Eastern descent, so I realize my viewpoint is necessarily limited, but I am also 100% against what is happening to and in Iran and to Iranians worldwide right now at the hands of the evil Israeli regime. Israel attacked first, and everyone knows this. So I am trying to use whatever limited voice I have to let the people who represent me in the American government know that this war is terrible, and American involvement in it (which I recognize is already happening via helping Israel, and that is horrific in itself, but it could get much worse if the current dumbass-in-chief is in a bad mood one day) is an absolutely catastrophic prospect. I will reproduce what I've just sent my senator via email below (his office is closed today, because it is a weekend), but I want to know from actual Iranians such as yourselves: What can I do to make my message more inclusive of your views? I am approaching this from an American security perspective because frankly I don't think the American government gives a shit about civilian lives being destroyed (just like they don't care about Americans dying in the street, or of preventable disease, etc.), so I want to appeal to them in a way they'll actually consider, but I know that the real cost is in the thousands, potentially millions more lives that could be lost if this is not stopped.

If you have any suggestions of what I can include or how I can phrase things in my next message (as this is certainly not the only one I will be sending), please let me know. Thank you.

-Message to my senator begins here-

I am writing to you as a constituent of your district to urge you to PLEASE stand against the prospect of war with Iran in the most explicit terms possible. We cannot allow preemptive strikes to become acceptable as a matter of law or as an approach to foreign relations, as doing so validates this approach which can and likely will later be used by one of America's enemies to attack us in kind, as America's own possession of nuclear weapons is widely known. Israel has claimed that Iran is mere months away from developing a nuclear weapon for at least three decades, over and against the report produced by the Trump administration itself only a few months ago. Continued diplomacy is the only way forward, even if it is difficult. The massive loss of lives on all sides if this war is allowed to happen would be a million times more difficult, and this country and the planet may not survive it. Please use your voice for those of us who are otherwise not listened to by the powerful who are pushing forward with this incredibly unwise and dangerous conflict. Please work for peace. Thank you.

A plea that will fall on deaf ears and blind eyes A plea that will fall on deaf ears and blind eyes

As an Iranian who no longer lives in Iran, I just want to say something that’s been weighing heavily on me as I read through this sub lately.

I’ve noticed a rise in comments -mostly from non-Iranians- urging Iranians to rise up, to fight, to throw themselves into the fire as some kind of symbol or sacrifice.

It’s so easy to sit behind a screen, oceans and kilometers away, and say things like “Iranians should rise up” or “fight back!” But it’s not your son, daughter, sister, brother, or cousin who would be shot in the streets.

Please remember that Iranians are not characters in your ideological fantasy. They're people.

If you truly care about Iranians, then don’t ask for their sacrifice. Stand with them, raise awareness, pressure your own governments. Don’t cheerlead for chaos and death from a distance.

To those who, like me, go to sleep hoping they won’t wake up to news that the neighborhood, town, or city where their family lives has been bombed: hold on to hope and keep reminding your loved ones how much they mean to you.

Sending love and Apologies from Jordan 🇯🇴 🇮🇷 Sending love and Apologies from Jordan 🇯🇴 🇮🇷

Sorry our government suck and is helping the isisreal regime. Sorry our people couldn't do more to help.

But know that everyone I know and almost everyone in Jordan is finally no longer brainwashed and fully support Iran. Despite what the hasbara bots might lead you to believe. Even if you strike Jordan's bases that is helping the enemy the people of Jordan stand beside you.
