Michał is an Associate Professor and global citizen with 13 years of teaching experience across disciplines and regions. A Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE) and SEDA-Recognised Leader in Technology-Enhanced Learning, he has taught Finance, Economics, Risk Management, and Econometrics at institutions in the UK, China, Hong Kong, and the Middle East.
His research addresses 11 of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reflecting the breadth and relevance. In addition, his international teaching experience, professional recognition, and passion for inclusive pedagogy embody SDG 4 – Quality Education, underscoring his commitment to impactful, learner-centred teaching. Michał’s work has appeared in leading journals, including Energy Economics, The European Journal of Finance, JIFMIM, JEM, and TFSC.
Outside academia, he enjoys lifting heavy weights, hiking, and exploring the world with his wife and two children, Lily and Michael Jr.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
