We live above an astonishingly nosy couple (the Coneys), who treat every minor noise—like a paper cup hitting the floor—as a personal attack. Their response? Grabbing broomstick-like objects and aggressively pounding their ceiling to let us know they’re always listening.

To make matters worse, the woman appears to exist in a kind of permanent mental cloud. She has the exact same hairstyle as a scarecrow and routinely blows marijuana fumes up through our bathroom ceiling vent—apparently with the goal of exposing our ******* children to it.

It’s as invasive as it is surreal.
