You join ComicsGate as a creator not because of your own bottom line, but because you're angry about cancel culture and want to ensure that making comics is possible for everyone.
I did ComicsGate LIVE for years to help creators who were blacklisted continue to make comics. I didn't need to do that to get CyberFrog funded. I did it because indie creators deserved a shot. So I gave them whatever clout I had accumulated to help them.
Backers sniff out people who are into CG for the wrong reasons.
