Princess Noor Pahlavi of Iran speaks:
"As I watch Iranians flee to safety while Israel targets the repressive apparatus of the Islamic Republic, my heart aches for every innocent soul caught in the crossfire - used as human shields by a regime that has long held its people hostage.
My thoughts are especially with the brave activists, artists and intellectuals in Evin Prison and with all those who, for years, have risked everything to stand against tyranny.
Though I have grown up in exile, the wounds of the Islamic Republic have touched my family deeply - we carry the memory of a country lost, loved ones taken and dreams postponed.
And yet, today, I feel a shift. A reckoning long overdue for Iran’s oppressors and captors. A whisper of redemption for the unjustly imprisoned. A solemn honoring of those who gave their lives for freedom.
For years, I’ve prayed my grandmother might live to see her beloved homeland again. For the first time, that prayer no longer feels impossible.
May justice rise, and may light return to the land we still call home."
