Is shipping sub-mediocre/damaged books truly a good business strategy? Seems to me like a way to get as much cash out of your paypigs as possible before they find another man to simp for.
I just watched over a dozen CG creators promote Shane Davis' new Annatomic project to over $60k in 12 hours.
If Eric had the power to organize the BPCs in promotion efforts the same way CG came together for Shane then Rippasend would be worth something.
There are plenty of fulfillment companies out there with transparent pricing. I can't understand why anyone would choose to distribute through Rippasend at this point.
He’s an adult pretending to be a Bidniss man.
Business men don’t hide their mistakes then argue with their customers on the internet.
They don’t call their mistakes a “creative decision”
They don’t ship out defective goods and then tell the customer that’s it’s defective after they shipped it…
Anywho have a great Sunday.
The biggest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing people that he didn't exist. The biggest trick Eric July ever pulled was convincing people his comics were good.
He jumped on the bandwagon on crying about 2018-style Marvel comics (I doubt he’s ever been a comic book fan) only to become that which 2018 Marvel was. Putting out too many titles with no literary/artistic value (or any value at all) just to keep dem bidness going. And he has his sycophants, just like Marvel has its zombies. One difference… Marvel hs always had the overall cultural value, iconic characters and legacy that will outlive all of us. Eric won’t have that, precisely because he is a hack, a YouTuber and a liar who only cares about the instant buck and clout.
At this point it's too late for them to put out comics with a good story and artwork. Rippaverse should have made that a top priority but instead he obsessed over shipping and sales. ️
I have a similar issue when I fold pizza boxes. The people who deliver them are too rough with boxes the edges and surface get damaged. I hate tossing them out. =\
People shouldn't treat their product(s) with more care.
He has a highly motivated self-starter corporate mindset of trying to beat last quarter’s numbers, yet seems to be viewing his business strategy backwards as the results curve is inverted from projections 🫡
