Under the concept of “Connecting”, more than 14 divisions of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the National Tax Agency, and the Agency for Cultural Affairs will hold exhibitions to promote the attractiveness of Japan's food, agriculture, forestry, and fishery industries. The exhibition will be divided into the following three areas (1) The “Connecting Traditions” area will introduce the landscapes, local practices, and foods formed by Japanese traditional agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, which have been handed down from generation to generation. (2)The “Connecting Diversity” area is an area that reexamines the diversity of products rooted in Japan and also reaffirms Japanese food from a variety of products. This open, scenic waterfront sauna offers an immersive experience that embodies the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai: "Designing Future Society for Our Lives. Petal-shaped air membrane cushions come together to form a single bud, creating a beautifully dynamic structure that stretches toward the sun, brimming with vitality. The energy of the sun, immersed in the air of the sea, plants, and wind, pours down onto the "TAIYO NO TSUBOMI (Sun Bud)." The delicate yet powerful membrane creates an environment filled with natural energy, harmonizing our minds and bodies and guiding us back to the core of our humanity. The space, enveloped by an ETFE film* membrane that allows natural light to filter through, glows gracefully with LED lighting, harmonizing with the ever-changing nature of Osaka Bay across the seasons and time. The sauna offers a completely new 'co-creation' space, embodying a future society that values “warmth and harmony.” *ETFE film: A high-performance fluoropolymer material that has been processed into a film.
